4. Installation Guide (Setup)

The MPC Remote Start Kit features a plug-and-play T-Harness design, significantly reducing the complexity of installation. Basic knowledge of car electronics wiring is recommended.

4.1. Before You Begin

  • Ensure your vehicle is turned off and the parking brake is engaged.
  • Disconnect the vehicle's battery to prevent electrical shorts.
  • Confirm all kit components are present and undamaged.
  • Locate the necessary connection points in your vehicle as indicated in the detailed instructions (accessed via QR code).

4.2. Installation Steps

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Remote Starting Your Vehicle

To activate the remote start function:

  2. Press the LOCK button on your factory key fob.
  3. Press the UNLOCK button on your factory key fob.
  4. Press the LOCK button on your factory key fob again.

The vehicle should start within a few seconds. The system is designed to start without a horn honk. The engine will run for a preset duration (typically 15 minutes) or until you enter the vehicle and turn the key to the 'ON' position.

9. Warranty Information

MPC remote starters and alarms carry a limited lifetime warranty through the manufacturer. Physical damage or damage due to improper installation will void the manufacturer's warranty.

  • First Year: For warranty issues within the first year of purchase, contact MPC directly. The product must be returned at the customer's expense for warranty service.
  • After First Year: After the first year, warranty issues must be handled directly through the manufacturer. A receipt from the original purchase will be required.

The product is warranted to the original purchaser, when properly installed and under normal conditions of use, to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of one year from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover abuse, operation inconsistent with the product's design, or damage from environmental exposure. If a defect is considered 'under warranty', MyPushcart (MPC) will, at its option, repair or replace the product free of charge. MPC is not liable for installation charges or any loss/damage incurred during replacement or repair of a warranted product.
