Setup

1. Power Options:

The CAZON Blood Pressure Monitor can be powered by either 4 AAA batteries (not included) or via the included USB cable.

  • Battery Installation: Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the unit. Insert 4 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the cover securely.
  • USB Connection: Connect the provided USB cable to the monitor's USB port and plug the other end into a compatible USB power adapter (e.g., phone charger, computer USB port).

2. Cuff Attachment:

Connect the air tube from the cuff securely into the air jack on the side of the main monitor unit.

Operating Instructions

Taking a Measurement:

  1. Prepare for Measurement: Sit comfortably with your back supported. Rest your arm on a flat surface so the cuff is at heart level. Avoid talking or moving during the measurement.
  2. Apply the Cuff: Wrap the cuff around your bare upper left arm, ensuring the air tube is positioned correctly. The bottom edge of the cuff should be approximately 2-3 cm (0.8-1.2 inches) above your elbow. Ensure it is snug but not too tight; you should be able to fit two fingers between your arm and the cuff.

  4. Select User ID: If using the two-user mode, press the 'SET' button to select User A or User B.
  5. Start Measurement: Press the 'START/STOP' button. The cuff will automatically inflate. Remain still and quiet.
  6. View Results: Once the measurement is complete, the cuff will deflate, and your Systolic, Diastolic, and Pulse readings will be displayed on the screen. The reading will automatically be saved to the selected user's memory.

Memory Function:

The monitor stores up to 100 readings for each of two users (User A and User B).

  • Access Memory: Press the 'MEM' button to view previous readings. Each press will cycle through the stored measurements.
  • Clear Memory: Refer to the detailed instruction manual for specific steps on how to clear stored data, if desired.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the monitor and cuff with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
  • Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If not in use for an extended period, remove the batteries.
  • Cuff Care: Ensure the cuff is not twisted or kinked during storage.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
