Maintenance
Cleaning
To clean your iHealth Nexus Smart Scale, wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the scale in water. The tempered glass surface is durable and easy to clean.
Battery Replacement
When the battery indicator appears on the scale's display or in the app, replace all four AAA batteries with new ones. Refer to the "Install Batteries" section under Setup for instructions.

Troubleshooting
- Scale displays "Lo" or no power: Replace the batteries. Ensure they are inserted with correct polarity.
- Inaccurate readings: Ensure the scale is on a hard, flat surface. Avoid carpets. Make sure your feet are bare and dry. Step on the scale gently and stand still.
- Scale does not connect to app: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone. Restart both the scale (by removing and reinserting batteries) and the app. Try re-pairing the device through the app settings.
- Body composition data not displayed: Ensure your feet are bare and make full contact with the ITO surface electrodes on the scale. Dry feet are essential for accurate bioelectrical impedance analysis.
- "Err" message: This may indicate an overload (weight exceeds maximum capacity) or a measurement error. Step off the scale and try again.
