Please read this manual thoroughly before operating the tool kit.

2. Safety Instructions
Always follow basic safety precautions to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury when using this product.
- Read All Instructions: Familiarize yourself with the tool's operation and safety guidelines.
- Wear Eye Protection: Always wear appropriate eye protection when operating power tools.
- Secure Workpiece: Ensure your workpiece is stable and secured before beginning any operation.
- Keep Work Area Clean: Cluttered areas invite accidents.

4. Setup
4.1 Battery Charging
- Connect the fast charging dock to a power outlet.
- Insert the Lithium-Ion battery pack into the charging dock.
- The indicator light on the charger will show the charging status. Allow the battery to fully charge before first use.
4.2 Assembling Handheld Tools (UniGrip System)
The UniGrip system allows you to convert motorized tool heads into handheld power tools.
- Ensure the battery pack is charged.
- Slide the charged battery pack into the UniGrip handle until it clicks securely into place.
- Select the desired motorized tool head (Drill/Driver, Circular Saw, Jig Saw, Work Light).
- Align the tool head with the UniGrip handle and push firmly until it locks into position. Ensure a secure connection before operation.

4.3 Converting to Benchtop Functions
The armored case transforms into a multi-function workshop by mounting the motorized tool heads directly to it.
- Open the POWER8 Workshop armored case and position it on a stable, flat surface.
- Identify the designated mounting points within the case for the desired benchtop function (Drill Press, Table Saw, Scroll Saw).
- Carefully align and mount the corresponding motorized tool head (e.g., Drill/Driver for Drill Press, Circular Saw for Table Saw, Jig Saw for Scroll Saw) into its respective slot on the case. Ensure it is securely fastened.
- Attach any necessary accessories, such as the lever/post for the drill press, table saw shield, or scroll saw guide.
- Insert the charged battery pack into the designated power slot on the workshop case.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Drill/Driver Operation
For handheld drilling and driving tasks:
- Attach the Drill/Driver tool head to the UniGrip with a charged battery.
- Insert the appropriate drill bit or driver bit into the chuck and tighten securely.
- Select forward or reverse rotation and desired torque setting.
- Press the trigger to operate.

5.2 Circular Saw Operation
For handheld cutting of various materials:
- Attach the Circular Saw tool head to the UniGrip with a charged battery.
- Adjust the cutting depth and bevel angle as needed.
- Ensure the blade guard operates freely.
- Align the saw with your cutting line and press the trigger to start. Allow the blade to reach full speed before engaging the material.

5.3 Jig Saw Operation
For handheld intricate and curved cuts:
- Attach the Jig Saw tool head to the UniGrip with a charged battery.
- Insert the appropriate jigsaw blade and secure it.
- Adjust the orbital action setting if available.
- Press the trigger to operate. Guide the saw along your cutting line.

5.4 Work Light / Lantern Operation
For illumination:
- Attach the Work Light tool head to the UniGrip with a charged battery.
- Press the power button to turn on the light.
- To convert to a lantern, attach the diffuser accessory to the work light head.
5.5 Benchtop Functions
Once tool heads are mounted to the workshop case, operate them using the case's power controls. Always ensure the workpiece is stable and hands are clear of moving parts.
- Drill Press: Use the lever/post to precisely control the vertical movement of the drill bit.
- Table Saw: Utilize the table saw shield for safety. Feed material slowly and evenly.
- Scroll Saw: Follow the scroll saw guide for accurate intricate cuts.

6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Regularly clean the tools and workshop case with a dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Battery Care: Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Do not expose them to extreme temperatures. Charge batteries fully before long-term storage and periodically during storage to maintain battery health.
- Blade/Bit Replacement: Replace worn or damaged saw blades and drill bits promptly for optimal performance and safety.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect all components for damage, loose fasteners, or wear. Do not operate damaged tools.
7. Troubleshooting
- Tool Not Powering On:
- Ensure the battery is fully charged and securely inserted into the UniGrip or workshop case.
- Check for proper connection between the tool head and the UniGrip/case.
- Battery Not Charging:
- Verify the charging dock is properly plugged into a working power outlet.
- Ensure the battery is correctly seated in the charging dock.
- If the issue persists, the battery or charger may be faulty.
- Tool Head Not Attaching Securely:
- Ensure alignment is correct and apply firm, even pressure until it clicks into place.
- Check for any obstructions or debris in the connection points.
- Reduced Performance:
- Check battery charge level.
- Ensure blades or bits are sharp and appropriate for the material.
