The ITC-300 system consists of a central rack-mountable unit and individual belt packs for each user. It supports up to 8 users and features bi-directional communication, external audio input/output, and integrated tally light control.
4.1 Front Panel Features
- POWER Button: On/Off switch for the unit.
- HEADSET/HEADPHONE Jacks: Connect a headset or headphones for monitoring.
- MIC Input: For connecting the gooseneck microphone.
- MODE Switch: Toggles between Dynamic and Condenser microphone modes.
- ALL Button: Enables communication with all connected users.
- HOLD Button: Latches the microphone open for continuous talk.

5. Setup
5.1 Connecting Belt Packs and Headsets
- Connect one end of an RJ45 cable to an available RJ45 port (1-8) on the rear panel of the ITC-300 main unit.
- Connect the other end of the RJ45 cable to the corresponding port on a belt pack.
- Plug a headset into the headset jack on the belt pack. Ensure the headset microphone is positioned correctly for clear audio capture.
- Repeat for all desired users.
5.2 Connecting Tally Lights
If using tally lights, connect the tally light cable from the belt pack to the tally light unit. Then, connect the TALLY A or TALLY B input on the rear of the ITC-300 to your video switcher's tally output. Refer to your video switcher's manual for specific tally output configurations.
5.3 Powering On
- Connect the 12V DC power adapter to the "DC IN 12V" port on the rear panel of the ITC-300.
- Plug the power adapter into a suitable power outlet.
- Press the "POWER" button on the front panel. The power indicator light will illuminate.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Basic Communication
- Speaking to All Users: Press the "ALL" button on the front panel of the main unit or the corresponding button on your belt pack. Release to stop speaking. For continuous talk, press the "HOLD" button.
- Speaking to Individual Users/Groups: Press the numbered button (1-8) corresponding to the desired user or group on the main unit or belt pack.
- Adjusting Volume: Use the "VOLUME" knob on the main unit or the volume control on your belt pack to adjust listening levels.
- Muting Microphone: Press the "MUTE" button on the main unit or belt pack to temporarily disable your microphone.
6.2 Tally Light Functionality
When connected to a compatible video switcher, the tally lights will illuminate to indicate camera status:
- Red Light: Indicates the camera is live (on-air).
- Green Light: Indicates the camera is in preview mode.
6.3 External Audio Integration
- Audio Input: Connect an external audio source (e.g., program audio, music) to the "AUDIO IN" RCA jacks on the rear panel. This audio will be mixed into the intercom system for all users to hear.
- Audio Output: The "AUDIO OUT" RCA jacks provide a mixed output of all intercom audio. This can be connected to a recording device, PA system, or broadcast mixer for external monitoring or recording.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the unit. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the unit in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Cable Management: Ensure all cables are neatly organized and not under strain to prevent damage.
