Your Vileda Spin & Clean Mop System includes the following parts:

• Bucket with integrated wringing mechanism and cleaning roller

• Mop plate with 360° swivel joint and foldable flap
• 100% Microfiber mop pad

Setup

1. Assemble the Mop Handle: Connect the sections of the mop handle by twisting them together until secure. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent wobbling during use.
2. Attach the Mop Pad: Align the microfiber mop pad with the mop plate. Press the mop plate firmly onto the pad until it is securely attached. The pad should cover the entire surface of the plate.
3. Prepare the Bucket: Place the bucket on a flat, stable surface. Fill the bucket with water up to the 'MAX' indicator line. You may add your preferred floor cleaning solution according to its instructions.

Operating Instructions

1. Washing the Mop Pad

1. Insert the mop head into the bucket's wringing mechanism.
2. Move the mop handle up and down slowly. This action engages the cleaning roller at the bottom of the bucket, which washes the mop pad, removing dirt and debris.

2. Wringing the Mop Pad

1. After washing, keep the mop head in the wringing mechanism.
2. Move the mop handle up and down quickly. This activates the spinning function, effectively wringing out excess water from the mop pad. Adjust the speed and number of pumps to achieve your desired level of dampness.

3. Cleaning Floors

• The 360° swivel joint allows for easy maneuverability around furniture and into tight spaces.
• Utilize the foldable flap on the mop plate to clean along baseboards and into corners effectively.
• The microfiber pad is safe for use on various floor types, including vinyl, laminate, wood, and tiles.

Maintenance

1. Clean the Mop Pad: The microfiber mop pad can be removed from the mop plate and machine washed at up to 60°C. Do not use fabric softener or bleach.
2. Clean the Cleaning Roller: The cleaning roller inside the bucket can be easily removed and rinsed under running water to remove accumulated dirt, hair, and fibers.
3. Empty and Clean the Bucket: After each use, empty the dirty water from the bucket using the ergonomic spout. Rinse the bucket thoroughly with clean water.
4. Storage: Store the Vileda Spin & Clean system in a dry place. Its compact design allows for convenient storage in cabinets or utility closets.

Troubleshooting

• Mop Pad Detaches During Use: Ensure the mop pad is firmly pressed onto the mop plate until all attachment points are secure.
• Handle Feels Unstable: Check that all handle sections are tightly screwed or clicked into place.
• Cleaning Roller Clogs: Regularly remove and rinse the cleaning roller under running water to prevent buildup of dirt and hair.
• Difficulty Wringing the Mop: Ensure the mop head is properly centered in the wringing mechanism. Practice the quick up-and-down motion of the handle to activate the spin effectively.
• Streaks on Floor: This can be caused by too much cleaning solution, insufficient wringing, or a dirty mop pad. Adjust solution quantity, wring the mop more thoroughly, or wash the pad.
