Gas and Electrical Connections

• This appliance is designed for use with Natural Gas. A gas conversion kit is included for conversion to LP gas if required. Conversion must be performed by a qualified technician.
• The range requires a 120 Volt electrical supply for ignition and oven functions. Ensure the electrical outlet is properly grounded.
• Connect the gas supply line using a flexible connector approved for gas appliances. Perform a leak test after connection.

Operating Instructions

Surface Burners

Your ILVE range is equipped with four semi-sealed brass burners, including a dual-ring burner for versatile cooking. The flame failure safety device ensures gas supply is cut off if the flame extinguishes.

1. Place cookware on the grate over the desired burner.
2. Push in and turn the corresponding burner knob counter-clockwise to the "HIGH" position.
3. The igniter will click, and the burner will light. Once lit, release the knob.
4. Adjust the flame size by turning the knob between "HIGH" and "LOW" settings.
5. For the dual-ring burner, the inner and outer rings can be controlled independently or together depending on the knob position.
6. To turn off, turn the knob clockwise to the "OFF" position.

Oven Operation

The 2.44 cu. ft. oven features true European convection for even cooking, a viewing window, and two oven racks. It also includes a defrost function.

1. Setting the Temperature: Turn the oven control knob to the desired temperature. The oven will begin to preheat.
2. Convection Baking: For faster and more even cooking, select the convection fan setting.
3. Defrost Function: Use the defrost setting to gently thaw frozen foods.
4. Oven Racks: Position the two oven racks according to your cooking needs before preheating.
5. Oven Light: Use the oven light button to illuminate the oven interior through the viewing window.

Warming Drawer

The full-width warming drawer is located beneath the oven and is ideal for keeping cooked food warm before serving.

• To activate the warming drawer, refer to the specific control knob or button on your model.
• Place heat-safe dishes in the drawer. Do not place plastic or flammable items.
• The warming drawer is not intended for cooking food.

Digital Clock and Timer

The digital clock and timer allow you to set cooking durations and monitor time.

• Refer to the display and control buttons for setting the current time.
• To set a cooking timer, press the timer button and use the adjustment buttons to set the desired duration. An alarm will sound when the time expires.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your ILVE gas range.

Cooktop Cleaning

• Allow the cooktop to cool completely before cleaning.
• Remove grates and burner caps. Clean with warm soapy water. For stubborn stains, use a non-abrasive cleaner.
• Wipe the stainless steel surface with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Dry thoroughly to prevent water spots.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool, or harsh chemicals on any surface.

Oven Cleaning

The oven features a self-clean mode. A self-clean panel is sold separately and required for this function.

• Self-Clean Mode: If you have the self-clean panel, follow its instructions for activating the self-clean cycle. Ensure the oven is empty before starting.
• Manual Cleaning: For light cleaning, wipe the oven interior with warm soapy water. For baked-on spills, use an oven cleaner specifically designed for gas ovens, following the product instructions.
• Remove oven racks before cleaning the oven interior. Clean racks separately.

Exterior Cleaning

• Clean the exterior surfaces, including the brass trim and control knobs, with a soft cloth and mild, non-abrasive cleaner.
• For stainless steel, wipe in the direction of the grain.
