Setup and Installation

The Tymate Anti-Theft Sensor is designed for straightforward installation as a replacement for existing valve caps on Tymate 4-wheel TPMS sets. Ensure your vehicle is parked on a flat, stable surface before beginning installation.

Sensor Installation

  1. Remove the existing valve cap from the tire valve stem.
  2. Screw the Tymate Anti-Theft Sensor onto the tire valve stem. Ensure it is tightened securely to prevent air leakage.
  3. Repeat for all desired tires.

Battery Replacement

  1. Using the provided tools, screw the sensor cover counter-clockwise to open it.
  2. Carefully remove the old battery.
  3. Fix in the new CR1632 Lithium battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
  4. Examine if the sealing rubber (O-ring) is in good condition. If damaged, replace it to maintain water resistance.
  5. Clockwise screw back the sensor cover with the provided tools until securely fastened.

What If a tire blowout puncture occurs?
TPMS could not avoid the puncture caused by sharp objects or damaged tires. TPMS cannot monitor instantaneous changes.
Is there no need for tire inspection after installation?
We recommend you do a comprehensive tire inspection for at least one month and ask your tire technician to replace your faulty tire in time.
