Setup
1. Battery Installation
The camera requires 8 AA batteries (not included) for operation. Ensure correct polarity when inserting.

- Locate the two battery compartments inside.
- Insert 8 AA batteries, paying close attention to the positive (+) and negative (-) markings.
- Close the battery compartments securely.
2. Micro SD Card Installation
A Micro SD card (up to 32GB, Class 10 recommended, not included) is required to store photos and videos.

- With the camera open, locate the Micro SD card slot on the side of the control panel.
- Insert the Micro SD card with the gold contacts facing down until it clicks into place.
- To remove, gently push the card in until it clicks, then release, and it will spring out.
3. Mounting the Camera
The Caliber WLC001 can be mounted using the included strap or a standard tripod mount.

- Strap Mounting: Thread the provided mounting strap through the slots on the back of the camera. Secure the camera to a tree or pole at the desired height and angle.
- Tripod Mounting: The camera features a standard 1/4-inch tripod screw hole at the bottom. Attach it to a tripod or other compatible mounting accessory for more precise positioning.
- Ensure the camera is stable and pointed towards the area you wish to monitor.
Operating Instructions
1. Powering On/Off
- Open the camera casing.
- Locate the ON/SET/OFF switch.
- Slide the switch to "ON" to power on the camera for normal operation (recording mode).
- Slide the switch to "SET" to enter setup mode (menu navigation).
- Slide the switch to "OFF" to power off the camera.
2. Menu Navigation
In "SET" mode, use the control buttons to navigate the menu and adjust settings.
- Press the MENU button to enter the main menu.
- Use the UP and DOWN arrow buttons to scroll through menu options.
- Use the LEFT and RIGHT arrow buttons to change values or select sub-options.
- Press the OK button to confirm a selection or enter a sub-menu.
- Press MENU again to exit the menu.
3. Recording Modes
The camera supports various recording modes:
- Photo Mode: Captures still images. You can set resolution (e.g., 3Mpx, 5Mpx, 8Mpx, 12Mpx), burst shots, and time-lapse.

4. Motion Detection Settings
The PIR (Passive Infrared) motion sensor triggers the camera to record. Adjust sensitivity and delay as needed.
- PIR Sensitivity: Set to High, Medium, or Low depending on the environment and desired trigger frequency. High sensitivity is suitable for open areas, Low for busy areas to avoid false triggers.
- PIR Interval: Defines the delay between consecutive triggers. A longer interval saves battery life and prevents excessive recordings of the same event.
5. Night Vision
The camera automatically switches to night vision mode using its infrared LEDs in low-light conditions. This allows for clear black-and-white images and videos at night without disturbing wildlife.
6. Viewing Files
You can view captured photos and videos directly on the camera's screen or by connecting it to a computer.
- On Camera: In "SET" mode, navigate to the playback option in the menu or press a dedicated playback button if available (refer to on-screen icons). Use arrow keys to browse and OK to view.
- On Computer: Connect the camera to your computer using the provided USB cable. The camera will appear as a removable disk. You can then access the DCIM folder on the Micro SD card to view and transfer files. Alternatively, remove the Micro SD card and insert it into a card reader connected to your computer.
