4. Setup and Installation

The Realspace™ Magnetic Dry-Erase Whiteboard is designed for wall mounting. Due to its size and weight, two or more people are recommended for safe installation.

Installation Steps:

1. Prepare the Board: Lay the whiteboard face down on a soft, clean surface. Attach the marker tray to the bottom frame of the whiteboard using the provided screws.
2. Determine Mounting Location: Hold the whiteboard against the desired wall location. Use a level to ensure it is straight. Mark the top corners and the positions for the mounting brackets with a pencil.
3. Install Mounting Brackets:
   • If mounting into wall studs, pre-drill pilot holes and secure the brackets directly with the longer screws.
   • If mounting into drywall without studs, drill holes for the drywall anchors. Insert the anchors until flush with the wall surface, then secure the brackets with the appropriate screws.
4. Hang the Whiteboard: With assistance, carefully lift the whiteboard and align the frame with the installed mounting brackets. Ensure the board is securely seated on the brackets.
5. Final Check: Gently pull on the whiteboard to ensure it is firmly attached to the wall and does not wobble.

5. Operating Instructions

Using the Dry-Erase Surface:

• Use only dry-erase markers specifically designed for whiteboards.
• Write clearly and allow ink to dry for a few seconds before erasing.
• Erase markings using a dry-erase eraser or a soft, clean cloth.
• Avoid using permanent markers, abrasive cleaners, or sharp objects on the whiteboard surface, as these can cause permanent damage.

Using the Magnetic Feature:

6. Maintenance
