weelye RX43/RX23-12V Bluetooth Receiver Control Box Instruction Manual

Model: RX43 / RX23-12V CE FC

1. Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of the weelye RX43/RX23-12V 2.4G Bluetooth Receiver Control Box, designed for children's electric ride-on cars. This control box features a slow start function, eliminating the need for additional slow starter installations.

1.1 Compatibility Verification

To ensure this control box is compatible with your ride-on car, open your existing electric ride-on car and inspect the control box. If the appearance of this control box matches your original unit, it should be compatible. This product is specifically designed for certain children's riding toys.

2. Setup and Pairing

This control box utilizes a 7-pin unilateral socket for connection. Ensure all connections are secure before proceeding.

2.1 Initial Use or Battery Replacement Pairing

The first time you use the control box, or after replacing the remote control batteries, you will need to perform a frequency matching procedure:

  1. Step 1: Install Remote Control Batteries. Install two AAA 1.5V batteries into the remote control. Pay close attention to the positive and negative polarity markings inside the battery chamber. Close the battery cover securely. The indicator light on the remote will flash three times, confirming correct battery installation.
  2. Step 2: Activate Pairing Mode on Remote. Press and hold the frequency key (often labeled 'car select' or a white button on top) on the remote control for approximately 2 to 5 seconds. The indicator light on the remote will begin to flash, indicating it is in pairing mode.
  3. Step 3: Power On the Car. Turn on the power supply of the children's ride-on car. The indicator light on the remote control should turn off, signifying a successful pairing.
  4. Step 4: Retry if Unsuccessful. If the matching frequency is unsuccessful (the indicator light does not turn off), turn off the power supply of the car and repeat Steps 2 and 3.

Note: Batteries for the remote control are not included with the control box.

3. Operation

Once the control box is correctly installed and paired with the remote control, the ride-on car will function as intended. The integrated 2.4G Bluetooth receiver allows for wireless control. The control box includes a built-in slow start function, which provides a smoother acceleration experience for the child, reducing sudden jolts.

4. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and reliable performance of your weelye control box and ride-on car, consider the following maintenance tips:

  • Regular Inspection: Periodically check all wire connectors associated with the motor control and the control box. Loose connections can lead to overheating and potential malfunction. Tighten any loose connections as needed.
  • Corrosion Prevention: The contacts within control boxes can sometimes corrode. If the car experiences intermittent power loss, inspect the control box contacts and the charging port for signs of corrosion. Clean with a suitable electronic contact cleaner if necessary.
  • Battery Care: Ensure the ride-on car's main battery is charged according to the manufacturer's instructions. For the remote control, replace AAA batteries when the indicator light suggests low power or if pairing becomes difficult.
  • Storage: Store the ride-on car and its components in a dry environment to prevent moisture-related damage to electronic parts.

5. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your weelye control box or ride-on car, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Problem: Remote Control Not Pairing / Indicator Light Not Turning Off.

Solution: Ensure the remote control batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge. Repeat the pairing procedure (Section 2.1). If the issue persists, try replacing the remote control batteries with new ones.

  • Problem: Car Not Moving or Intermittent Power Loss.

    Solution:

    • Check if other functions of your car, such as lights or sound, are working properly. This can help determine if the issue is with the control box or a broader power problem.
    • Verify that the main battery of the ride-on car is fully charged and properly connected.
    • Inspect all wire connectors, especially those to the motors and the control box, for looseness or corrosion. Tighten or clean as necessary.
    • Examine the charging port of the ride-on car for any signs of damage or corrosion, as this can also lead to power issues.
  • Problem: Forward/Reverse Function Not Working.

Solution: This could indicate a failure in the control box's internal relays. If troubleshooting steps above do not resolve the issue, the control box may need replacement.
