Setup

1. Battery Installation

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the tuner.
  2. Insert one CR2032 lithium coin battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Attaching to Your Instrument

  1. Gently open the clip of the tuner.
  2. Attach the tuner securely to the headstock of your guitar. Ensure the clip makes good contact with the instrument for accurate vibration detection.
  3. Adjust the angle of the display for optimal viewing. The tuner features a flexible joint for easy positioning.

2. Tuning Your Guitar

  1. Once powered on and attached to your guitar, pluck a single string.
  2. The display will show the note name closest to the pitch of the plucked string.
  3. The meter will indicate whether the note is sharp, flat, or in tune.
    • If the needle is to the left (blue area), the note is flat. Tighten the string.
    • If the needle is to the right (red area), the note is sharp. Loosen the string.
    • When the needle is centered (green area), the note is in tune.
  4. Repeat this process for all strings until your guitar is accurately tuned.

3. Adjusting Calibration (A4 Reference Pitch)

The default calibration is 440Hz. If you need to change this:

  1. Press the CALIB button (usually on the side) repeatedly to cycle through available reference pitches (e.g., 436Hz to 445Hz).
  2. Stop pressing when the desired A4 reference pitch is displayed.
