- After adding oil, close the lid.
- Turn the temperature control dial to your desired frying temperature (e.g., 375°F). The 'Heat-Up' indicator light will illuminate.
- Allow the oil to preheat. The 'Ready' indicator light will turn on when the oil has reached the set temperature. This typically takes several minutes.
5.2 Frying Food
- Prepare your food items. Ensure they are dry to minimize splattering.
- Place the food into the fry basket. Do not overload the basket; fry in small batches for best results. The basket holds up to 3/4 pound of food.
- Carefully lower the fry basket into the hot oil. Close the lid immediately.
- Fry for the recommended time or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Periodically check the food by carefully lifting the lid.
- Once food is cooked, carefully lift the fry basket and hook it onto the edge of the deep fryer to allow excess oil to drain.
- Remove food from the basket and place it on paper towels to absorb any remaining oil.
- Repeat for additional batches if necessary.
5.3 After Frying
- Once frying is complete, turn the temperature control dial to the 'MIN' or 'OFF' position.
- Unplug the deep fryer from the electrical outlet.
- Allow the oil and the appliance to cool completely before cleaning or storing. This may take several hours.

Proper cleaning ensures the longevity and hygiene of your deep fryer.
6.1 Cleaning the Fryer
