Setup and First Use

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Cleaning: Before first use, wash all jars and lids with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the main motor unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor unit in water.
  3. Placement: Place the mixer grinder on a stable, flat, and dry surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit.
  4. Initial Operation (Burning Smell): During the first few runs, a slight burning smell may be observed. This is normal and due to the evaporating varnish on the motor windings. It will dissipate after a few uses.

Operating Instructions

General Operation

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Cut ingredients into small pieces suitable for grinding.
  2. Load Jar: Place ingredients into the appropriate jar. Do not overfill. Ensure the jar is not filled beyond 2/3 capacity for wet grinding and 1/2 capacity for dry grinding.
  3. Secure Lid: Place the lid firmly on the jar and ensure it is properly locked.
  4. Attach Jar: Place the jar onto the main motor unit and twist gently until it locks into position. The mixer grinder features a safety lock mechanism.
  5. Plug In: Connect the power cord to a suitable electrical outlet (230 Volts).
  6. Select Speed: Turn the knob control to the desired speed setting (1, 2, or 3).
    • Speed 1: For lighter tasks and initial blending.
    • Speed 2: For medium grinding and mixing.
    • Speed 3: For heavy-duty grinding and tougher ingredients.
  7. Pulse Function: For short bursts of power, turn the knob to the 'P' (Pulse) setting and release. This is useful for coarse grinding or quick mixing.
  8. Monitor: Keep an eye on the grinding process. If the motor strains, switch off, add a little liquid (for wet grinding), or reduce the quantity.
  9. Switch Off: After use, turn the knob to '0' (Off) and unplug the appliance.
  10. Remove Jar: Carefully remove the jar from the motor unit and then remove the lid.

Jar Usage Guide

Select the correct jar based on your grinding needs:

It shows that less than 750W is suitable for dips, chutneys, purees, soups, smoothies, and milkshakes, while more than 750W (like this 780W model) is ideal for tough grinding such as dry masala, ginger, coconut, turmeric paste, rice, and lentil batters.

  2. Motor Unit: Wipe the main motor unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse it in water.
  3. Jars and Lids: Wash jars and lids with warm soapy water immediately after use to prevent food from drying on. Use a brush for thorough cleaning of blades. Rinse well and dry completely before storing.
  4. Blades: Handle blades with extreme care as they are sharp.
  5. Storage: Store the mixer grinder and its accessories in a clean, dry place.
