1. Introduction

2. Safety Instructions

• Always keep the trimmer out of reach of children and pets when not in use.

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Trimmer

1. Connect the USB power cable to the charging port on the bottom of the trimmer.
2. Plug the other end of the USB cable into a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.
3. The LED display on the trimmer will show the charging status. A full charge takes approximately 3 hours.
4. The trimmer is fully charged when the LED display indicates 99 or 100%.

4.2 Attaching Guide Combs

1. Ensure the trimmer is turned off before attaching or removing guide combs.
2. Select the desired guide comb (3mm, 6mm, 9mm, or 12mm) based on the desired hair length.
3. Align the comb with the clipper blade and slide it firmly onto the blade until it clicks into place.
4. To remove, gently push the comb upwards and off the blade.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Preparing Your Pet

• Brush your pet's fur thoroughly to remove any tangles or mats. This helps prevent the blades from snagging and ensures a smooth cut.
• If your pet has very long or matted fur, use the included grooming scissors to trim the bulk of the hair before using the electric clipper.
• Ensure your pet is calm and comfortable. Introduce the trimmer slowly, allowing them to get used to its sound (approximately 50dB, which is quiet).

5.2 Trimming Your Pet's Hair

1. Press the power button to turn on the trimmer. The LED display will show the current battery level.
2. Hold the trimmer at a slight angle against your pet's fur.
3. Move the trimmer slowly and steadily in the direction of hair growth. Avoid pressing too hard.
4. For a shorter cut, you can move against the direction of hair growth, but exercise caution.
5. Regularly check the blades for hair buildup and clean as needed to maintain optimal performance.
6. The trimmer offers an extra-long battery life of up to 70 minutes on a full charge, allowing for extended grooming sessions.

5.3 Blade Adjustment

The trimmer features an adjustable blade length directly on the unit (typically 0.8mm, 1.4mm, 2.0mm). Rotate the ring below the blade to select the desired cutting length for fine-tuning or areas that require precision without a guide comb.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Trimmer

The NWOUIIAY Pet Hair Trimmer is IPX7 waterproof, allowing for easy and quick cleaning.

1. Turn off the trimmer and remove the guide comb.
2. Use the included cleaning brush to remove loose hair from the blades and inside the trimmer head.
3. Rinse the blade head under running water. The entire unit can be rinsed under water due to its IPX7 rating, but ensure the charging port is dry before recharging.
4. Allow the trimmer to air dry completely before storing or recharging.

6.2 Blade Care

For optimal performance and longevity, it is recommended to regularly oil the blades after cleaning and drying. Apply a small drop of clipper oil (not included) to the blades and run the trimmer for a few seconds to distribute the oil evenly.

7. Troubleshooting

• Trimmer not turning on: Ensure the trimmer is fully charged. If the battery is low, connect it to the power cable and charge for 3 hours.
• Poor cutting performance:
  • Check if the blades are clean and free of hair buildup. Clean them thoroughly with the brush.
  • Ensure the blades are properly oiled.
  • Verify that the guide comb is correctly attached.
  • Make sure your pet's fur is clean, dry, and detangled before grooming.
