Setup and Assembly
Your DEVAISE office chair requires assembly. Please follow the detailed instructions provided in the separate assembly guide included with your product. Ensure all components are present and undamaged before beginning assembly. It is recommended to assemble the chair on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
- Unpack all components and verify against the parts list in the assembly guide.
- Attach the casters to the chair base.
- Insert the gas lift into the chair base.
- Assemble the seat and backrest according to the diagrams.
- Attach the assembled seat and backrest to the gas lift.
- Ensure all screws are tightened securely.

Operating Instructions
1. Seat Height Adjustment
To adjust the seat height, locate the lever on the right side beneath the seat. While seated, pull the lever up to lower the seat. To raise the seat, stand up and pull the lever up. Release the lever at the desired height to lock it in place. The seat height can be adjusted from 43cm to 51cm.
2. 160° Reclining Function
The chair features a stepless reclining function up to 160 degrees, allowing for various postures from working to relaxing. To recline, pull the reclining lever (usually on the left side) and lean back. Release the lever at your preferred angle to lock the backrest. To return to an upright position, pull the lever again and lean forward slightly.

3. Retractable Ottoman
For added comfort during reclining, the chair includes a retractable ottoman. To use, pull the ottoman out from beneath the seat. To store, push it back in until it is fully concealed. This space-saving design allows for easy access when needed and keeps it out of the way when not in use.
4. Armrest Adjustment
The armrests are multi-functional, offering height and angle adjustments to suit your preference. To adjust the height, locate the button on the side of the armrest and press it while moving the armrest up or down. To adjust the angle, rotate the armrest pad. Release the button to lock the armrest in place.

Troubleshooting

- Chair Squeaks: Check and tighten all screws and bolts. A small amount of silicone lubricant can be applied to moving parts if necessary.
- Difficulty Adjusting Height: Ensure the gas lift lever is fully engaged. If the issue persists, the gas lift may need replacement.
- Unstable Chair: Verify that all components are correctly assembled and all fasteners are tight. Ensure the chair is on a flat, even surface.
- Casters Not Rolling Smoothly: Clean any debris (hair, lint) from the caster wheels.
