Compatibility
The Suuwer S725 thermostat is compatible with the following HVAC systems:
- Heat Pump systems (with auxiliary or emergency heat)
- Heat Pump systems (without auxiliary heat)
- Most 24V conventional single-stage systems (e.g., conventional forced air, central gas, oil, or electric furnaces) up to 2 Heat and 1 Cool.
Incompatible Systems:
- 110-240V electric heat systems (e.g., electric baseboard heat, line voltage, convectors, radiant-ceiling heat).
- Conventional multi-stage systems.
- Mini-split systems.
- 12V RV thermostats.
Before installation, verify your existing system's compatibility. If your current thermostat has stranded wires or is labeled 110V or 120V, it is not compatible with this thermostat.

Setup & Installation
Safety Precautions:
- Turn off power to the heating/cooling system at the main fuse or circuit breaker panel before beginning installation.
- Ensure all wiring is performed by a qualified individual if you are unsure.
Removing Your Old Thermostat:
- Turn off the power to your heating and cooling system at the circuit breaker.
- Remove the cover of your old thermostat.
- Take a picture of the wiring connections for reference.
- Label each wire with the provided cable labels according to its terminal designation.
- Disconnect the wires and remove the old thermostat's mounting base.
Mounting the New Thermostat:
- Position the new thermostat's sub-base on the wall where the old thermostat was located.
- Mark the mounting holes.
- Drill pilot holes if necessary and insert the wall anchors.
- Feed the wires through the opening in the sub-base.
- Secure the sub-base to the wall using the provided screws.
Wiring Connections:
Connect the labeled wires to the corresponding terminals on the Suuwer S725 thermostat's sub-base. Refer to the wiring diagrams below for common system types.
| Terminal | Function (Heat Pump System) | Function (Conventional System) |
|---|---|---|
| R | Transformer Power | Transformer Power |
| C | Transformer Common (Optional 24 VAC common connection when thermostat is used in battery power mode) | Transformer Common |
| B | Changeover Valve Energized in HEAT | N/A |
| O | Changeover Valve Energized in COOL | N/A |
| G | Fan Relay | Fan Relay |
| W/E | First Stage of Emergency HEAT | First Stage of HEAT |
| W2 | Second Stage of HEAT/EMERGENCY HEAT | Second Stage of HEAT |
| Y | First Stage of HEAT and COOL | First Stage of COOL |
Note: Use either O or B terminals for the changeover valve, but not both. In many systems with no emergency heat relay, a jumper can be used between E and W2.

Battery Installation:
The thermostat can be powered by 24VAC or two AAA batteries. If using batteries, open the easy-access battery compartment and insert two fresh AAA alkaline batteries, observing polarity.

Figure 5: Battery compartment with AAA batteries.
Completing Installation:
Once wiring is complete and batteries are installed (if applicable), carefully align the thermostat body with the sub-base and snap it into place. Restore power to your HVAC system at the circuit breaker.
Operating Instructions
The Suuwer S725 thermostat features a clear LCD display and intuitive buttons for easy operation.

Figure 6: Front view of the thermostat display and controls.
Controls Overview:
- Menu Buttons (Left Side): Used for accessing settings like Tech Set, Set Time, Set Sched (Schedule).
- Up/Down Arrows (Right Side): Used to adjust temperature settings and navigate menu options.
- FAN Switch:
- ON: Fan runs continuously.
- AUTO: Fan runs only when heating or cooling system is active.
- SYSTEM Switch:
- OFF: System is off.
- HEAT: Thermostat controls heating.
- COOL: Thermostat controls cooling.
- EMH (Emergency Heat): Activates emergency heat (for heat pump systems with auxiliary heat).
Setting the Current Time and Day:
- Press the "Set Time" button.
- Use the Up/Down arrows to adjust the hour, then press "Set Time" again to move to minutes.
- Adjust minutes, then press "Set Time" to move to the day of the week.
- Adjust the day, then press "Set Time" or wait for the thermostat to return to the main display.

When the low battery indicator appears on the display, replace the two AAA batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation. Open the easy-access battery compartment on the front of the thermostat to replace them.
Air Filter Change Reminder:
The thermostat features an air filter change indicator. This reminder can be set in the technical settings (Tech Set) for intervals between 50 and 2000 hours. When the indicator appears, it is recommended to check and replace your HVAC system's air filter.
Cleaning:
Clean the thermostat's exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
Troubleshooting
If you experience issues with your thermostat, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No display or blank screen. | No power or dead batteries. | Check circuit breaker. Replace AAA batteries if running on battery power. Ensure 24VAC power is connected if not using batteries. |
| Heating/Cooling system not responding. | Incorrect wiring, system switch in OFF position, or compressor delay. | Verify wiring connections. Ensure SYSTEM switch is set to HEAT or COOL. Wait 5 minutes for compressor delay protection to cycle. |
| Temperature inaccurate. | Thermostat location, calibration needed. | Ensure thermostat is not in direct sunlight or near heat sources. Perform room temperature calibration adjustment (refer to advanced settings). |
| Thermostat runs AC when set to HEAT (or vice-versa). | Incorrect wiring of O/B terminals or system configuration. | Verify O/B wire connections. Check technical settings for correct system type (Heat Pump vs. Conventional) and O/B valve operation. |
| Fan not operating correctly. | Fan switch setting. | Ensure FAN switch is set to ON for continuous operation or AUTO for operation with heating/cooling cycles. |
If problems persist after attempting these solutions, contact customer support for further assistance.
