Setup

Unpacking and Initial Inspection

Carefully remove the scale from its packaging. Inspect the device for any signs of damage. If damaged, do not use and contact customer support.

Battery Installation

The Beurer BF720 requires 3 AAA batteries (included).

1. Open the battery compartment on the underside of the scale.
2. Insert the 3 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
3. Close the battery compartment securely.

Placement

Place the scale on a firm, flat surface. Avoid carpets or uneven flooring, as this can affect measurement accuracy.

To utilize the full features of your BF720 scale, download the free Beurer HealthManager Pro app.

1. Search for "Beurer HealthManager Pro" in your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).
2. Install the app.
3. Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to create a user profile.
4. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
5. Step onto the scale briefly to activate it. The scale will display "BT" or a Bluetooth symbol when ready to pair.
6. Within the app, navigate to "Devices" or "Add Device" and select the BF720 scale to pair.
7. Follow any further prompts in the app to complete the pairing process and set up your personal data (age, height, gender, activity level).

Operating Instructions

Taking a Weight Measurement

To take a simple weight measurement:

1. Place the scale on a hard, flat surface.
2. Step onto the scale with bare feet. Ensure your feet are positioned on the electrodes.
3. Stand still until your weight is displayed and stabilizes.
4. The scale will automatically turn off after a few seconds.

Taking a Body Analysis Measurement

For a comprehensive body analysis (weight, fat, water, muscle, bone mass, BMI, BMR/AMR):

1. Ensure your personal profile is set up in the Beurer HealthManager Pro app and paired with the scale.
2. Step onto the scale with bare feet, ensuring good contact with the electrodes.
3. Stand still. The scale will first display your weight, then cycle through your body analysis values.
4. Your measurements will automatically transfer to the Beurer HealthManager Pro app if Bluetooth is active and the app is open or running in the background.

User Recognition

The BF720 features automatic user recognition for up to eight users. Ensure your profile is correctly set up in the app. The scale will attempt to identify you based on your weight and other stored data. If multiple users have similar weights, the scale may prompt you to select your user number.

Activity Levels

The scale allows for five different activity levels to ensure accurate calorie requirement calculations. Adjust your activity level in the Beurer HealthManager Pro app based on your physical activity.

• Level 1: No physical activity.
• Level 2: Light physical activity (e.g., walking, light housework).
• Level 3: Moderate physical activity (e.g., 1-2 times per week sports).
• Level 4: Active physical activity (e.g., 3-5 times per week sports).
• Level 5: Very active physical activity (e.g., daily intensive sports).

Maintenance and Care

Cleaning

Clean the scale regularly with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or immerse the scale in water.

Storage

Store the scale in a dry place, away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.

Battery Replacement
