Setup and Initial Use
1. Setting the Time
- Pull the crown (located on the right side of the watch case) out to the second click position.
- Rotate the crown to move the hands clockwise until the correct time is displayed. Ensure AM/PM is correctly set if your watch has a 24-hour indicator (not applicable for this model, but good general advice).
- Push the crown back into its normal position to start the watch.
2. Setting the Date
- Pull the crown out to the first click position.
- Rotate the crown counter-clockwise to adjust the date. Adjust the date to the day before the current date.
- Pull the crown out to the second click position.
- Rotate the crown clockwise to advance the time. As the hour hand passes midnight, the date will change to the current date. Continue rotating until the correct time is set.
- Push the crown back into its normal position.
3. Adjusting the Bracelet
The stainless steel band is adjustable by adding or removing links. This procedure typically requires specialized tools and is best performed by a qualified jeweler or watch technician to avoid damage to the watch or injury.

Operating the Watch
Uni-directional Bezel
The watch features a uni-directional rotating bezel with a blue and red top ring. This bezel rotates only counter-clockwise. It is commonly used to measure elapsed time, particularly in diving. To use:
- Align the zero marker (triangle) on the bezel with the minute hand at the start of an event.
- Read the elapsed time by noting the position of the minute hand against the bezel's scale.
Note: The uni-directional rotation prevents accidental increases in measured time, which is a safety feature for divers.
Water Resistance
This watch is 100 meters (330 feet) water resistant. This rating makes it suitable for recreational surfing, swimming, snorkeling, sailing, and water sports. It is not suitable for diving.
- Ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any contact with water.
- Do not operate the crown or pushers (if any) while the watch is wet or submerged.
- After exposure to saltwater, rinse the watch with fresh water and dry it thoroughly.
| Water Resistance Rating | Activity |
|---|---|
| 30M (3 ATM) | Splash resistant, light rain. |
| 50M (5 ATM) | Showering, swimming in shallow water. |
| 100M (10 ATM) | Recreational surfing, swimming, snorkeling, sailing, water sports. |
| 200M (20 ATM) | Scuba diving (non-saturation). |
Maintenance and Care
Cleaning
Regularly clean your watch with a soft, damp cloth. For the stainless steel bracelet, a soft brush and mild soap can be used, ensuring to rinse thoroughly with fresh water and dry completely. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
Battery Replacement
The watch is powered by a Japanese quartz movement (PC32 Caliber) and uses an SR626SW battery. When the battery life ends, it should be replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and water resistance. Do not attempt to replace the battery yourself.
Crystal Care
The watch features a Flame Fusion crystal, which offers enhanced scratch resistance. While durable, avoid impacts and contact with abrasive surfaces to maintain its clarity.
Storage
When not wearing the watch, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and strong magnetic fields. The original Invicta box provides suitable protection.

Troubleshooting
- Watch Not Running: Check if the crown is fully pushed in. If the watch still does not run, the battery may need replacement.
- Date Not Changing: Ensure the time is set correctly, passing midnight for the date to advance. If the date changes at noon, the AM/PM setting needs adjustment (advance the time by 12 hours).
- Condensation Under Crystal: This may indicate a breach in water resistance. Avoid further water exposure and have the watch inspected by a professional immediately.
- Bracelet Discomfort: If the bracelet is too tight or too loose, consider having links added or removed by a professional.
