Setup and Assembly
- Attach the Search Coil: Securely attach the 11-inch Double-D Smart Coil to the lower stem using the provided bolt and washers. Ensure the coil cable is wrapped snugly around the stem.
- Assemble the Shaft: Connect the lower, middle, and upper shaft sections. Adjust the length to a comfortable operating position, ensuring the control unit is at a suitable height for viewing.
- Mount the Control Unit: Slide the control unit onto the upper shaft and secure it. Connect the coil cable to the control unit's port.
- Charge the Battery: Before first use, fully charge the detector's internal Lithium-Ion battery using the USB charging cable. Press and hold the Power button (⏻) on the control unit for approximately 2 seconds to turn the detector on or off. The display will illuminate upon startup.

- Sweeping the Coil: Hold the coil parallel to the ground and sweep it slowly from side to side, overlapping each sweep. Maintain a consistent height above the ground.
- Pinpointing: When a target is detected, press the Pinpoint button (⍖) to narrow down the target's exact location. Move the coil slowly over the target area until the strongest signal is found.
