4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Basic Functionality
The Model D mouse features 6 programmable buttons: Left Click, Right Click, Scroll Wheel Click, DPI Cycle Button, and two Side Buttons. It operates with a 1000 Hz polling rate and a Pixart 3360 optical sensor for precise tracking.

4.2 DPI Adjustment
The DPI (Dots Per Inch) can be adjusted using the dedicated DPI cycle button located behind the scroll wheel. The DPI indicator on the bottom of the mouse changes color to reflect the current DPI setting. Default DPI settings are typically color-coded (e.g., Red for 1600 DPI). For custom DPI levels, use the Glorious CORE software.

4.3 RGB Lighting Control
The Model D features customizable RGB lighting. You can cycle through various lighting effects and colors directly on the mouse using button combinations (refer to the Quick Start Guide for specific combinations) or through the Glorious CORE software for full customization.

4.4 Debounce Time and Double-Clicking
The debounce time setting, adjustable via the Glorious CORE software, determines the minimum time between clicks. Lowering this value can enable faster double-clicking, which may be beneficial in certain gaming scenarios. Adjust this setting carefully as very low debounce times can lead to unintended double-clicks.

5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the mouse. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. For the honeycomb shell, compressed air can be used to remove dust and debris.
- PTFE Feet (G-Skates): The G-Skates are designed for smooth glide. If they show signs of wear or reduced performance, they can be replaced with the additional G-Skates provided in the package. Carefully peel off the old feet and apply the new ones, ensuring a clean surface.
- Cable Care: The Ascended Cord is ultra-flexible. Avoid sharp bends or excessive pulling to prevent damage.
6. Troubleshooting
- Mouse Not Responding:
- Ensure the USB cable is securely plugged into a working USB port.
- Try connecting the mouse to a different USB port or another computer to rule out port or system issues.
- DPI/RGB Not Changing:
- Verify that the Glorious CORE software is installed and running correctly if you are using custom settings.
- Check the Quick Start Guide for correct button combinations for on-the-fly adjustments.
- Tracking Issues:
- Ensure your mouse pad surface is clean and free of obstructions.
- Clean the optical sensor on the underside of the mouse with a soft, dry cloth.
