Before beginning installation, ensure you have the necessary tools (screwdriver, drill, measuring tape) and that the door is prepared for a 72mm BB (Buntbart) lock type. The 72mm measurement refers to the distance from the center of the handle spindle to the center of the keyhole.

1. Prepare the Door: Ensure the door has pre-drilled holes for the handle spindle and the keyhole, spaced 72mm apart (center-to-center).
2. Insert Spindle: Insert the square spindle through the latch mechanism in the door.
3. Position Handle Plates: Place one handle plate onto the spindle on one side of the door, aligning the keyhole and screw holes. Repeat for the other handle plate on the opposite side.
