The Igloo ICEB33SL is designed to produce up to 33 pounds of ice per day, with the first batch of 9 ice cubes ready in as little as 7 minutes. It features a transparent lid for viewing ice production, an LED-lighted control panel for easy operation, and the ability to select between small or large ice cube sizes. The unit also includes indicators for when to add water and when the ice basket is full.
2. Important Safeguards
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons.
- Read all instructions before operating the appliance.

4. Setup
4.1 Unpacking
- Remove all packaging materials from the unit.
- Inspect the ice maker for any damage during shipping. If any damage is found, do not operate the unit and contact customer support.
4.2 Placement
- Place the ice maker on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight and other heat sources (e.g., stove, furnace, radiator).
- Ensure there is at least 4 inches of space around the unit for proper ventilation.
- Do not place the unit directly on carpet or rugs, as this may obstruct airflow.
4.3 Initial Cleaning
- Before first use, clean the interior of the unit, the ice basket, and the ice scoop with a soft cloth and warm, soapy water.
- Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- It is recommended to run at least two ice-making cycles and discard the ice produced during these initial cycles to ensure cleanliness.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Adding Water
- Open the transparent lid.
- Remove the ice basket.
- Pour potable water into the water reservoir up to the MAX fill line. Do not overfill.
- Replace the ice basket and close the lid.

5.2 Starting Ice Production
- Plug the unit into a grounded electrical outlet.
- Press the ON/OFF button to turn on the ice maker. The ON/OFF indicator light will illuminate.
- To select the ice cube size, press the SELECT button. The corresponding LARGE or SMALL indicator light will illuminate.
- The ice maker will begin the ice-making cycle. The first batch of ice will be ready in approximately 7-15 minutes, depending on the selected size and ambient temperature.

5.3 Ice Collection
- As ice is produced, it will drop into the ice basket.
- When the ice basket is full, the ICE FULL indicator light will illuminate, and the unit will pause ice production.
- Remove ice from the basket using the provided scoop. Once ice is removed, the unit will automatically resume ice production.

5.4 Adding More Water
- If the water level in the reservoir is too low, the ADD WATER indicator light will illuminate, and the unit will pause.
- Add more water as described in Section 5.1. The unit will automatically resume ice production once sufficient water is added.
5.5 Turning Off the Unit
- Press the ON/OFF button to turn off the ice maker.
- Unplug the unit from the electrical outlet when not in use.
6. Care and Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
- Always unplug the unit before cleaning.
- Clean the interior of the ice maker, including the water reservoir and ice basket, regularly with a soft cloth and a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly.
- For thorough cleaning, drain any remaining water from the reservoir by removing the drain plug located at the bottom of the unit.
- Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling and storing the unit.
6.2 Storage
- If the ice maker will not be used for an extended period, drain all water from the reservoir and clean the unit thoroughly.
- Store the unit in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
