Proper installation is crucial for the optimal performance and safety of your range hood. It is recommended that installation be performed by a qualified professional.
Pre-Installation Considerations:
- Ensure adequate electrical supply. The unit requires a 120 Volts connection.
- Determine if your installation will be ducted (venting outside) or ductless (recirculating air through charcoal filters). The unit is convertible.
- For ducted installations, ensure proper ductwork is in place.
- For ductless installations, ensure the charcoal filter is correctly installed.
- Verify the dimensions of your cabinet opening to ensure a proper fit for the 36-inch insert.

Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your range hood. For more complex problems, please contact customer support.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Fan not operating | No power, fan speed not selected, gesture sensor not activated correctly. | Check power connection. Ensure the blue power symbol is lit. Wave hand clearly in front of the gesture sensor or use touch controls. |
| Low suction power | Dirty filters, incorrect fan speed, improper installation (e.g., duct issues). | Clean or replace filters. Increase fan speed. Verify proper ducting or charcoal filter installation. |
| Excessive noise | Fan speed too high, loose components, ducting issues (for ducted models). | Reduce fan speed. Check for any loose parts. Ensure ducting is properly sealed and free of obstructions. Note: Ductless operation may be louder. |
| Lights not working | LED bulb failure, electrical connection issue. | Check power. If bulbs are replaceable, inspect them. Contact support if issue persists. |
| Remote control not working | Dead battery, remote out of range, interference. | Replace CR2032 battery. Ensure direct line of sight to the range hood. |
