Setup

Battery Installation and Charging

The Fluke Ti401 Pro uses 3 Lithium Ion batteries. Ensure batteries are fully charged before first use.

  1. Insert the charged battery pack into the battery compartment at the base of the imager handle until it clicks into place.
  2. To charge, connect the AC power supply to the battery charger and plug it into a power outlet. Insert the battery pack into the charger.
  3. A full charge typically takes several hours. Refer to the charger's indicator lights for charging status.

Initial Power On

Press and hold the power button located on the imager to turn it on. The display will illuminate, showing the Fluke logo before entering the main operating screen.

Connecting to Fluke Connect

Basic Operation

To power on the imager, press the power button. To power off, press and hold the power button until the shutdown prompt appears, then confirm.

Laser Sharp Auto Focus

The imager features Laser Sharp Auto Focus for precise and rapid focusing. Point the imager at your target and press the focus button to achieve a sharp image in seconds. This ensures accurate temperature measurements.

Interchangeable Smart Lenses

The Ti401 Pro supports interchangeable Smart Lenses, allowing you to capture images near and far without the need for calibration. To change a lens, carefully twist and remove the current lens, then align and attach the new lens until it locks into place.

IR-Fusion Technology

Utilize Fluke's patented IR-Fusion technology to adjust the level of infrared and visible light in your images. This feature allows you to blend thermal and visual images to better identify problem areas and provide context to your thermal readings. Access IR-Fusion settings through the on-screen menu.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Imager

To clean the imager, use a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals. For the lens, use a lens cleaning cloth and solution specifically designed for optical surfaces.

Battery Care
