4.1 Charging the Battery

The polisher features a lock button for easy pad attachment. Press the lock button to secure the spindle, then screw the desired pad onto the polisher. The pads have a hook-and-loop backing for efficient replacement.

5.1 Powering On/Off and Speed Adjustment

The polisher features a 5-stage speed adjustment. Press the button to cycle through the speeds. The rotation speed is indicated by different colored LED lights, allowing you to monitor the torque level at a glance.

• 1 LED: Approx. 0-600 RPM
• 2 LEDs: Approx. 0-1200 RPM
• 3 LEDs: Approx. 0-1800 RPM
• 4 LEDs: Approx. 0-2400 RPM
• 5 LEDs: Approx. 0-3000 RPM

Avoid operating at maximum rotation speed for extended periods. As this is a brushed motor tool, prolonged use can cause the product to heat up. This is normal. Allow it to cool sufficiently before resuming use.

• Battery Care: Always ensure the battery is sufficiently charged before use. For long-term storage, it is recommended to store the battery with a partial charge (around 50%) to prolong its lifespan.

If you encounter any issues with your KIMO polisher, please refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:

• Tool Overheating: As mentioned in the operating instructions, prolonged use, especially at high speeds, can cause the tool to heat up. This is a normal phenomenon for brushed motor tools. Allow the tool to cool down completely before continuing use.
• Reduced Performance: Ensure the battery is fully charged. Check if the buff pad is clean and properly attached. Worn-out pads may also reduce polishing effectiveness.
