  • Fixed Code Technology: Utilizes a fixed code system for straightforward programming.
  • Pre-Coded: Transmitters are pre-coded but can be easily re-coded from an existing, functional transmitter.
  • Compatibility: Exclusively compatible with Came radio products, including models such as CAME TOP-432EE, TOP-432EV, TOP-432NA, TOP-432SA, TOP-432M, and 4-channel TOP-434XX versions.

4. Setup and Programming

The Came TOPD4FPS remote control is pre-coded, but it can be programmed or copied from an existing, functional Came fixed code remote control. Ensure you are within close proximity to the receiver or the existing remote during the programming process.

4.1. Copying from an Existing Remote Control (Face-to-Face Method)

  1. Take your existing, working Came fixed code remote control and the new TOPD4FPS remote control.
  2. Press and hold the button on the new TOPD4FPS remote control that you wish to program. Keep it pressed until the LED on the new remote starts to flash rapidly.
  3. While still holding the button on the new remote, bring the existing, working remote control very close to the new remote, ideally face-to-face or side-by-side.
  4. Press and hold the corresponding button on the existing remote control that you want to copy.
  5. The LED on the new TOPD4FPS remote control should change its flashing pattern (e.g., flash steadily or faster) to indicate successful code reception.
  6. Release both buttons.
  7. Test the newly programmed button on the TOPD4FPS remote control with your Came operator.
  8. Repeat this process for any other buttons you wish to program.

Note: If programming is unsuccessful, ensure both remotes have fresh batteries and try again, adjusting the distance between them slightly. Some users find placing them 'muso a muso' (nose to nose) works best.

5. Operating Instructions

Once programmed, operating the Came TOPD4FPS remote control is straightforward:

  • Activation: Press the desired button on the remote control corresponding to the function you wish to activate (e.g., open gate, close garage door).
  • Range: Ensure you are within the operational range of your Came receiver for the command to be received.
  • LED Indicator: The LED on the remote will illuminate when a button is pressed, indicating that a signal is being transmitted.

6. Maintenance

6.1. Battery Replacement

The remote control is powered by internal batteries. When the battery level is low, the frequency flashing of the LED will change to warn you that the battery needs replacement. To replace the battery:

  1. Carefully open the casing of the remote control.
  2. Remove the old battery, noting its orientation.
  3. Insert a new battery of the same type, ensuring correct polarity.
  4. Close the remote control casing securely.

6.2. Cleaning

Clean the remote control with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the casing or internal components.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Remote not working after programming:
    • Ensure the programming steps were followed precisely.
    • Verify that the existing remote control used for copying is fully functional and has a strong battery.
    • Check the battery in the new TOPD4FPS remote control.
    • Ensure the new remote is compatible with your Came operator (refer to Section 3).
    • Try repeating the programming process, adjusting the distance and angle between the two remote controls.
  • Reduced operating range:
    • Replace the battery in the remote control.
    • Check for any obstructions between the remote control and the receiver.
    • Ensure the receiver antenna is not damaged or obstructed.
  • LED not illuminating:
    • The battery may be completely depleted. Replace the battery.
    • Ensure the battery is inserted with correct polarity.
