5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Controller

Before first use, fully charge the controller. Connect the supplied USB Type-C cable to the controller's charging port and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., Nintendo Switch dock, PC, or USB wall adapter). The LED indicators will show charging status and turn off when fully charged. A full charge typically takes about 2 hours and provides 7-10 hours of gameplay.

5.2 Connecting to Nintendo Switch (Wireless)

  1. On your Nintendo Switch, go to the HOME Menu.
  2. Select Controllers > Change Grip/Order.
  3. On the STOGA controller, press and hold the Home button and the Y button simultaneously for 3-5 seconds until the LED indicators start flashing rapidly.
  4. Once connected, the LED indicator(s) on the controller will light up solid, indicating successful pairing.

5.3 Connecting to Nintendo Switch (Wired)

To use the controller in wired mode, connect the USB Type-C cable from the controller to the Nintendo Switch dock's USB port. Ensure that 'Pro Controller Wired Communication' is enabled in the Switch System Settings (System Settings > Controllers and Sensors > Pro Controller Wired Communication).

6. Operating the Controller

6.1 Basic Controls

The controller features standard button layouts for intuitive gameplay. Refer to the in-game instructions for specific button assignments.

6.2 Turbo Function

The Turbo function allows for rapid, continuous input of a button press. This can be useful in games requiring fast button mashing.

  1. Activating Turbo: Press and hold the Turbo button (T), then press the desired action button (e.g., A, B, X, Y, L, R, ZL, ZR). The button will now continuously register input when held down.
  2. Adjusting Turbo Speed: While holding the Turbo button (T), press the Up or Down direction on the D-pad to cycle through three different Turbo speeds (slow, medium, fast).
  3. Deactivating Turbo: To deactivate Turbo for a specific button, press and hold the Turbo button (T), then press the action button again. To clear all Turbo settings, press and hold the Turbo button (T) for 5 seconds.

6.3 Interchangeable Components

The controller's D-pad and left analog stick can be swapped to customize your control preference. Gently pull the existing component upwards to remove it, then align and press the desired replacement component into place until it clicks securely.

6.4 Macro Function

The STOGA SW001 controller supports macro programming for the back buttons. This allows you to assign a sequence of button presses to a single back button for complex actions.

  1. Entering Programming Mode: Press and hold the Macro button (usually located on the back of the controller) until the indicator light starts flashing.
  2. Recording Macro: Press the back button (e.g., M1, M2) you wish to program. The indicator light will change. Now, input the sequence of buttons you want to record.
  3. Saving Macro: Press the Macro button again to save the sequence. The indicator light will stop flashing.
  4. Using Macro: Press the programmed back button to execute the recorded sequence.
  5. Clearing Macro: To clear a specific macro, enter programming mode, press the back button you want to clear, then press the Macro button again without inputting any sequence. To clear all macros, refer to the specific instructions in the full manual or product support.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the controller. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
