Setup

Power Connection:

Connect the provided power adapter to the DC input on the rear panel of the TD-3. Plug the adapter into a suitable power outlet. Ensure the power switch is in the 'OFF' position before connecting the power supply.

Audio Output:

Connect the main audio output (1/4-inch TS jack) to your mixer, audio interface, or amplifier. For monitoring, headphones can be connected to the dedicated headphone jack.

MIDI Connectivity:

For external control or synchronization, connect MIDI cables to the MIDI IN and MIDI OUT ports. The TD-3 also supports USB MIDI for computer connectivity.

Operating

Basic Operation:

• Power On: Flip the power switch to the 'ON' position.
• Volume Control: Adjust the MASTER VOLUME knob to set the overall output level.
• Sound Generation: The TD-3 features a VCO (Voltage Controlled Oscillator) for generating the core sound. Use the WAVEFORM switch to select between Sawtooth and Square waves.
• Filter Control: The VCF (Voltage Controlled Filter) section allows you to shape the timbre. Adjust CUTOFF, RESONANCE, ENVELOPE, DECAY, and ACCENT knobs to modify the filter's characteristics.

Sound Design

The VCO is the primary sound source. Select between a rich Sawtooth wave or a punchy Square wave using the WAVEFORM switch. The TUNE knob adjusts the overall pitch of the oscillator.

VCF (Voltage Controlled Filter):

The 4-pole low-pass resonant filter is crucial for shaping the TD-3's signature sound. Experiment with the following controls:
