When the display becomes dim or the clock functions erratically, it is time to replace the battery. Follow the battery installation steps in Section 3.1. Always use a fresh AA alkaline battery for optimal performance. Dispose of used batteries responsibly according to local regulations.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Display is blank or dim: Check battery polarity. Replace with a fresh AA alkaline battery.
