Maintenance
1. Cleaning Your Watch
To maintain the appearance of your watch, wipe it regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For silicone straps, a damp cloth with mild soap can be used, followed by rinsing and thorough drying.
2. Battery Replacement
When the display becomes dim or functions become erratic, it may be time to replace the battery. Battery replacement should ideally be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance. The watch uses one product-specific battery.
3. Water Resistance Care
To preserve the water resistance of your watch:
- Do not operate buttons while the watch is submerged in water.
- Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperature changes (e.g., hot showers followed by cold water).
- Have the water resistance checked periodically, especially after battery replacement.
Troubleshooting
- Display is blank or dim: The battery may be low or depleted. Replace the battery.
- Buttons are unresponsive: Ensure the watch is not in a locked mode (if applicable, refer to specific model features). Try resetting the watch by pressing all buttons simultaneously for a few seconds, or by removing and reinserting the battery (professional service recommended).
- Time is incorrect: Re-set the time and date following the instructions in the "Setup" section. Check if the 12/24-hour format is set correctly.
- Water inside the watch: Immediately take the watch to a qualified technician for inspection and repair to prevent further damage.
