  • Avoid Impact: Protect the device from drops and impacts, which can damage internal components.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Device not turning on: Check if batteries are inserted correctly and have sufficient charge. Replace batteries if necessary.
  • Recording not working or freezing: Ensure there is enough free memory. Try formatting the device (this will delete all data, so back up important files first). If the issue persists, try removing and reinserting the batteries to perform a hard reset.
  • Audio corrupted or unable to download: This can occur if the device is turned off during recording or if the battery runs out. Ensure stable power during recording. If files are corrupted, they may not be recoverable.
  • Low playback volume: Adjust the volume using the VOL+ button. Ensure headphones are properly connected and functioning.
  • Device turns off unexpectedly: This often indicates low battery. Replace batteries.
  • Device not recognized by computer: Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the recorder and the computer. Try a different USB port or cable.
  • Recordings split into multiple files: The device may automatically split long recordings (e.g., after 1 hour) into separate files. This is normal behavior to manage file sizes.
