  • For models up to 2010: Self-programming may be available. Refer to your vehicle's owner's manual or online resources for specific self-programming procedures. Note: Self-programming is not available for Saturn Vue models.
  • For 2010+ models: Programming typically requires a qualified locksmith or dealership. These models often have advanced security systems that prevent DIY programming.

3. Operating Instructions

Once programmed, your VOFONO key fob provides convenient access and control over your vehicle's functions.

3.1 Button Functions

  • Lock Button (Lock icon): Press once to lock all vehicle doors.
  • Unlock Button (Unlock icon): Press once to unlock the driver's door, press twice to unlock all doors.
  • Remote Start Button (Remote start icon): Press and hold to remotely start the vehicle (if equipped).
  • Panic/Horn Button (Panic/Horn icon): Press and hold to activate the vehicle's alarm/horn. Press again to deactivate.

4.1 Battery Replacement

The key fob uses a Coin / Button Cell, Lithium 3V battery. When the remote's range decreases or it becomes unresponsive, it may be time to replace the battery.

  1. Carefully open the key fob casing. You may need a small flat-head screwdriver to gently pry it open at the seam.
  2. Locate the battery.
  3. Remove the old battery and insert a new 3V coin cell battery, ensuring correct polarity.
  4. Snap the key fob casing back together securely.
