1. Product Overview

The CLY Solar LED Landscape Spotlights are designed to provide efficient and versatile outdoor lighting. Featuring a solar panel for automatic charging and dusk-to-dawn operation, these IP66 waterproof spotlights offer adjustable brightness and three color temperature options (2700K, 4000K, 6000K) to enhance your garden, yard, or pathway.

3. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps for proper installation and initial setup of your CLY Solar LED Landscape Spotlights.

3.1 Choosing a Location

• Solar Panel: Select a location for the solar panel that receives 8-10 hours of direct sunlight daily. This is crucial for optimal charging and light duration. Avoid shaded areas.
• Spotlights: Position the spotlights to illuminate desired areas such as pathways, garden features, or architectural elements. Consider the 3-meter cable length between each light and the 4.5-meter cable from the solar panel to the first light.

3.2 Assembly

1. Attach Stakes: Securely attach the ground stakes to the bottom of each spotlight and the solar panel.
2. Connect Components: Connect the solar panel cable to the 'Input' port on the control box. Then, connect the three spotlight cables to the 'Output' ports on the control box. Ensure all connections are tight and secure to maintain the IP66 waterproof rating.

3.3 Mounting Options

• Ground Installation: Insert the assembled spotlights and solar panel stakes firmly into the ground.
• Wall Mount: For wall installation, use the provided screws and wall anchors to secure the solar panel and spotlights to a suitable surface.

3.4 Initial Charging

Before first use, ensure the solar panel is exposed to direct sunlight for 8-10 hours to fully charge the internal battery. The lights will not operate during the day while charging.

4. Operating Instructions

The CLY Solar LED Landscape Spotlights feature automatic operation and adjustable settings.

4.1 Automatic Dusk-to-Dawn Operation

The lights are equipped with a light sensor. They will automatically turn on at dusk and turn off at dawn, provided the solar panel receives sufficient sunlight for charging during the day.

4.2 Power and Brightness Control

The control box features a power switch (labeled '3' in Image 3.1) and brightness settings:

• Press the power switch once to turn on the lights in Low Light Mode (default). This mode provides up to 12 hours of illumination on a full charge.
• Press the power switch a second time for High Light Mode. This mode provides brighter illumination for approximately 8 hours on a full charge.
• Press the power switch a third time to turn the lights off.

4.3 Color Temperature Adjustment

The control box also includes a color temperature switch (labeled '4' in Image 3.1) to select your preferred light color:

• 2700K Warm White: For a cozy and inviting ambiance.
• 4000K Natural White: A balanced, neutral light.
• 6000K Cold White: A bright, crisp light.

4.4 Battery Indicator

The battery indicator (labeled '5' in Image 3.1) shows the charge level:

• One indicator light: Approximately 30% charge.
• Two indicator lights: Approximately 70% charge.
• Three indicator lights: 100% charge.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your solar landscape spotlights.

• Clean Solar Panel: Periodically wipe the solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, leaves, or snow. A clean panel ensures maximum sunlight absorption for efficient charging.
• Inspect Connections: Occasionally check all cable connections to ensure they remain tight and free from corrosion, especially after heavy rain or extreme weather.
• Clear Obstructions: Ensure no new obstructions (e.g., growing plants, new structures) are shading the solar panel during the day.

If your CLY Solar LED Landscape Spotlights are not functioning as expected, refer to the following common issues and solutions:

• Lights do not turn on at night:
  • Ensure the power switch on the control box is set to ON (Low or High Light Mode).
  • Verify the solar panel is receiving 8-10 hours of direct sunlight daily. Relocate if necessary.
  • Check for any obstructions (e.g., leaves, dirt) on the solar panel. Clean if needed.
  • Confirm all cables are securely connected to the control box.
• Lights are dim or only stay on for a short period:
  • The battery may not be fully charged due to insufficient sunlight. Allow for a full day of charging in direct sun.
  • Ensure the solar panel is clean and free from debris.
  • Consider switching to Low Light Mode for extended illumination duration.
  • In colder weather, battery performance may be reduced, affecting light duration.
• One or more spotlights are not working:
  • Check the specific connection for the non-working spotlight at the control box.
  • Inspect the cable for any visible damage.
