Setup and Installation
Mounting

Wiring

Operating Instructions
Initial Power-Up
Upon initial power-up, the device will perform a self-test and display the current time and operating mode. Follow the on-screen prompts for basic setup.
Setting Brightness Value
The brightness value setting range is 1 to 99000 lux. Use the control buttons to adjust the desired lux level at which the switch should activate (turn on) or deactivate (turn off) connected lighting. A preset brightness value of 15 lux is typically configured.
Programmable Night Shutdown
The device includes a programmable night shutdown feature. This allows you to define specific periods during the night when the lighting should remain off, regardless of the ambient brightness. Consult the detailed programming menu on the device for setting these periods.
Control Input
The unit features a control input (Ext1) for external triggering or override functions. This can be used for manual override or integration with other control systems.

Maintenance

Troubleshooting
Device Not Switching
- No Power: Check the main power supply (230 V AC) to the device.

- Obstructed/Dirty Sensor: Ensure the light sensor is clean and not obstructed by dirt, dust, or objects.
- Brightness Threshold: Check the set brightness value (lux) and compare it to the current ambient light conditions. Adjust if necessary.
- Night Shutdown Active: Confirm that the programmable night shutdown feature is not currently active, preventing the lights from turning on.
Incorrect Switching Times
- Sensor Calibration: If the switching behavior is inconsistent, the light sensor may require re-calibration (refer to the device's internal menu for this function).
- Brightness Threshold: Fine-tune the brightness threshold to match desired switching levels more accurately.
- Delay Settings: Check the switch-on and switch-off delay settings (0-59 min) which can influence the response time.
- Time Basis: Ensure the internal clock (Quartz/DCF77) is correctly synchronized.
