3. Setup

3.1 Powering the Device

  1. Connect the provided AC power adapter to the DC IN port on the back of the alarm clock.
  2. Plug the adapter into a standard wall outlet. The display will light up.
  3. The alarm clock includes a built-in backup battery to maintain time and alarm settings during a power outage. This battery is not intended for primary operation.

3.2 Initial Time and Date Setting

Upon first power-up or after a prolonged power disconnection, you may need to set the current time and date. Refer to the "Operating" section for detailed instructions on setting time and date.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Setting Time and Date

Press and hold the TIME SET button (or similar, specific button name not provided, assuming common alarm clock controls) to enter time setting mode. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to adjust hours, minutes, year, month, and day. Press TIME SET again to confirm each setting and move to the next.

4.2 Setting Alarms

This clock supports dual alarms. To set an alarm:

  1. Press and hold the ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 button to enter alarm setting mode.
  2. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to set the desired alarm time (hour and minute).
  3. Press the ALARM button again to select the alarm tone (3 available tones).
  4. Press the ALARM button once more to confirm and exit alarm setting.
  5. To activate/deactivate an alarm, short press the corresponding ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 button. An alarm icon will appear/disappear on the display.

4.3 Snooze Function

When an alarm sounds, press the large SNOOZE button to temporarily silence the alarm for 9 minutes. The alarm will sound again after 9 minutes. To turn off the alarm completely, press any other button (e.g., ALARM 1/2 or OFF button).

4.4 Display Brightness Adjustment

The display has 3 adjustable brightness levels: dim, medium, and bright. Short press the BRIGHTNESS button (or similar) to cycle through the brightness levels. This allows for comfortable viewing in various lighting conditions without disturbing sleep.

4.5 Projection Feature

The alarm clock can project the time onto a wall or ceiling. The projection is clear from a distance of up to 5 meters.

  • Adjusting Projection Angle: The projection angle can be adjusted from -30° to 60°. Locate the projection lens and manually adjust its position.
  • Reversing Projection: To rotate the projected image 180 degrees, press and hold the BRIGHTNESS button (or similar, assuming it's the same button as brightness control based on product description) for 3 seconds. This ensures the time is always displayed upright.

4.6 Temperature and Humidity Display

The clock continuously displays the current indoor temperature and humidity. No specific action is required to activate this feature.

4.7 Weekend Function

The weekend function allows you to disable alarms on specific days (e.g., Saturday and Sunday). Consult the specific button layout on your device for the WEEKEND button (or similar) and its operation. Typically, a short press will toggle the weekend alarm setting.

4.8 USB Charging Port

A USB charging port is located on the side or back of the alarm clock. You can use this port to charge your mobile devices. Connect your device's USB charging cable to this port.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

To clean the alarm clock, gently wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays, as these may damage the finish or internal components.

5.2 Backup Battery

The internal backup battery is designed for short power interruptions. If the clock frequently loses time during power outages, the backup battery may need replacement. Contact customer support for service if this issue persists.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Display is blank:
    • Ensure the AC power adapter is securely connected to both the clock and a working wall outlet.
    • Check if the power outlet is functional.
  • Alarm does not sound:
    • Verify that the alarm is activated (alarm icon visible on display).
    • Check the alarm volume setting (if applicable, not specified in input).
    • Ensure the weekend function is not active if you expect the alarm to sound on a weekend.
  • Projection is unclear or upside down:
    • Adjust the projection lens for focus.
    • Adjust the projection angle.
    • Press and hold the BRIGHTNESS button for 3 seconds to reverse the projected image 180 degrees.
