5. Installation

This faucet is designed for single-hole deck mounting. Follow these steps for proper installation:

1. Prepare the Sink: Ensure the mounting hole on your sink or countertop is clean and free of debris. The faucet requires a standard single-hole opening.
2. Mount the Faucet: Insert the faucet body into the mounting hole. From underneath the sink, secure the faucet using the provided rubber washer, metal washer, and mounting nut. Tighten the nut firmly but do not overtighten.

3. Connect Water Supply Hoses: Attach the hot and cold water supply hoses to the corresponding inlets on the faucet body. Ensure the connections are hand-tight, then use a wrench to tighten them an additional quarter turn.
4. Connect to Water Supply: Connect the other ends of the hot and cold water supply hoses to your home's hot and cold water lines. Use thread sealant tape on the threads for a watertight seal.
5. Test for Leaks: Slowly turn on the main water supply and check all connections for leaks. If any leaks are detected, tighten the connections slightly until the leak stops.
6. Flush the Faucet: Remove the aerator (see Maintenance section) and turn on the faucet to flush out any debris from the water lines. Run both hot and cold water for a few minutes. Reinstall the aerator.
