2. Setup & Installation
Before beginning installation, ensure you have all components and necessary tools. It is recommended to turn off the main water supply before starting. This faucet is designed for single-hole installation.
Installation Steps:
- Prepare the Mounting Hole: Ensure your sink or countertop has a standard single mounting hole (approximately Ø35mm).
- Insert the Faucet: Place the faucet body into the mounting hole. Ensure the base gasket is properly seated to prevent leaks.
- Secure the Faucet: From underneath the sink, slide the rubber washer, metal washer, and then thread the mounting nut onto the faucet shank. Tighten the nut securely using a basin wrench or appropriate tool.
- Connect Water Lines: Attach the hot (H) and cold (C) water supply lines to the corresponding inlets on the faucet and to your home's water supply valves. Ensure connections are tight to prevent leaks.
- Connect Spray Hose: Connect the flexible spray hose to the designated outlet on the faucet body.
- Test for Leaks: Once all connections are made, slowly turn on the main water supply and check for any leaks. Operate the faucet to ensure proper hot and cold water flow and spray functions.

3. Operating Instructions
The Ibergrif kitchen faucet is designed for intuitive and efficient operation.
Water Flow and Temperature Control:
- Flow Control: Lift the single lever handle to increase water flow. Push down to decrease or turn off.
- Temperature Control: Move the lever to the left for hot water and to the right for cold water. The faucet features a "Cold Start" function, meaning when the lever is in the central position, only cold water is used, saving energy by not activating the water heater unnecessarily.

Figure 3.1: Illustration of the "Cold Start" feature, showing how the lever position affects water temperature and energy saving. This image also highlights water savings and low noise operation.
Flexible Spout and Hand Shower:
- Spout Rotation: The main spout arm can rotate 360 degrees, providing flexibility for various sink configurations and tasks.
- Hand Shower Function: Pull the hand shower from the main spout to extend it. A button or switch on the hand shower allows you to toggle between laminar stream and spray modes.
- Adjustable Angle: The flexible silicone tube allows you to adjust the angle and position of the spout or hand shower as needed.

4. Care & Maintenance
Proper care and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Ibergrif kitchen faucet.
Cleaning:
- Regular Cleaning: Clean the faucet regularly with a soft cloth and mild soap or a non-abrasive cleaner specifically designed for chrome finishes.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or cleaners containing ammonia, bleach, or acids, as these can damage the finish.
- Drying: After cleaning, wipe the faucet dry to prevent water spots and mineral buildup.
Aerator Maintenance:
Periodically, the aerator (at the tip of the spout/hand shower) may accumulate mineral deposits, affecting water flow. To clean:
- Remove Aerator: Unscrew the aerator from the spout. Some aerators may require a special key (often included with the faucet).
- Clean: Rinse the aerator under running water. Use a soft brush or toothpick to remove any debris or mineral deposits from the screen. For stubborn deposits, soak the aerator in a solution of equal parts white vinegar and water for a few hours.
- Reinstall: Screw the clean aerator back onto the spout, ensuring it is hand-tightened.
