Setup and Installation
The Ibergrif M22125 kitchen tap is designed for single-hole deck mount installation. Follow these steps for proper setup:
- Prepare the Sink/Countertop: Ensure the mounting hole on your sink or countertop is clean and free of debris. The tap requires a standard single-hole opening.
- Install the Tap Body: Insert the tap body into the mounting hole. Ensure the base gasket is properly seated between the tap and the sink surface to prevent leaks.
- Secure the Tap: From underneath the sink, slide the rubber washer, metal washer, and then the mounting nut onto the threaded shank of the tap. Tighten the mounting nut securely using the provided tool or an adjustable wrench. Do not overtighten.

- Connect Water Supply Lines: Attach the two 40 cm G3/8 inch hose pipes to the corresponding hot and cold water inlets on the tap body. Hand-tighten first, then use a wrench for a final quarter turn. Connect the other ends of the hose pipes to your hot and cold water supply valves. Ensure connections are secure to prevent leaks.
- Test for Leaks: Slowly turn on the main water supply. Check all connections for any signs of leaks. If leaks are detected, tighten the connections slightly until they stop.
- Flush the System: Turn on the tap and allow water to run for a few minutes to flush out any debris from the new installation.

Operating Instructions
The Ibergrif M22125 features a single lever for convenient control of water flow and temperature, and a smooth turning spout for versatile use.
- Water Flow Control: Lift the single lever handle upwards to increase water flow. Push it downwards to decrease flow and turn off the water.
- Temperature Control: Move the single lever handle to the left for hot water and to the right for cold water. Adjust the position between hot and cold to achieve the desired water temperature. The handle features subtle red and blue indicators for hot and cold respectively.
- Spout Rotation: The high-arc spout can be smoothly rotated 360 degrees, allowing for easy access to multiple sink basins or for filling large pots outside the sink area.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance will help preserve the appearance and functionality of your Ibergrif kitchen tap.
- Cleaning the Finish: The brushed steel finish is designed to resist water spots and fingerprints. Clean the tap regularly with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry with a soft cloth to prevent water spots. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish.
- Aerator Maintenance: Over time, mineral deposits can build up in the aerator, affecting water flow. To clean the aerator, unscrew it from the end of the spout. Rinse any debris or mineral deposits under running water. For stubborn deposits, soak the aerator in a solution of equal parts white vinegar and water. Reattach the aerator once clean.

Troubleshooting
Refer to the following table for common issues and their solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Low Water Flow | Clogged aerator; partially closed supply valve; kinked supply line. | Clean the aerator (see Maintenance section); ensure supply valves are fully open; check supply lines for kinks. |
| Leaking at Base of Tap | Loose mounting nut; improperly seated gasket. | Tighten the mounting nut from underneath the sink; ensure the base gasket is correctly positioned. |
| Leaking from Spout (when off) | Worn ceramic cartridge. | Contact customer support for a replacement ceramic cartridge. |
| No Hot/Cold Water | Supply valve closed; reversed supply lines. | Ensure hot/cold supply valves are open; verify hot and cold supply lines are connected to the correct inlets. |
