Connecting the Drive:
- Locate the integrated USB 3.0 cable on the underside of the ROOFULL drive.
- Plug the USB 3.0 connector directly into an available USB port on your laptop or desktop PC.
- If your computer only has USB-C ports, use the included USB 3.0 to USB-C adapter. Connect the USB 3.0 cable from the drive to the adapter, then plug the adapter into your computer's USB-C port.
- The drive is plug-and-play and should be automatically recognized by your operating system.
Note: For optimal performance, especially with laptops or MacBooks, it is recommended to connect your computer to external power while using the drive.

4. Operating Instructions
Inserting and Ejecting Discs:
- Press the eject button on the front of the drive to open the disc tray.
- Carefully place your CD or DVD onto the tray, ensuring it is centered on the spindle.
- Gently push the tray back into the drive until it clicks shut.
- To eject a disc, press the eject button again.
Special Note for macOS Users: Due to macOS limitations, the tray cannot be opened via the button after playing or burning a disc. To eject a disc on a Mac, right-click the desktop icon of the disc and select "Eject," or go to "File" > "Eject" from the menu bar in Finder.

Playing, Burning, and Ripping Discs:
While the drive is plug-and-play, dedicated software is required to play, burn, or rip discs. Your computer's operating system may have built-in media players, or you can install third-party software.
- Playing Discs: Use media player software such as VideoLAN VLC Player or 5KPlayer to play DVDs, music CDs, or self-burned discs.
- Burning Discs: Use burning software to write music, videos, photos, and other files to blank CDs or DVDs.

DVD Region Codes:
DVDs will only play on DVD drives that use the same region country codes. For example, if you live in the U.S or Canada, you are in Region 1. You need to set the DVD drive Region code to #1 to play Region 1 DVDs. CDs are not region coded.
Note: Each external optical drive only allows you to change the region code 4-5 times.

- Disc tray stuck (macOS): As noted in the Operating Instructions, eject the disc via the operating system (right-click desktop icon > "Eject" or Finder > "File" > "Eject").
- Forced Ejection: In rare cases where the eject button does not work, a small pinhole is located near the eject button. Insert a straightened paperclip into this hole to manually open the disc tray.
