Setup
Battery Installation
The Arlec Head Torch requires 3 x AAA batteries (included). Follow these steps to install or replace batteries:
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the head torch unit.
- Open the battery compartment cover by gently pressing the latch and lifting.
- Insert 3 x AAA alkaline batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely until it clicks into place.
Adjusting the Headband
The elastic headband is adjustable to fit various head sizes. To adjust:
- Place the head torch on your head.
- Use the adjustable buckle on the headband to tighten or loosen it until it fits comfortably and securely.
Operating Instructions
The Arlec Head Torch features 4 light modes. The power button is located on the top of the head torch unit.
Power On/Off and Mode Selection
- First Press: Turns the head torch ON to the first light mode (High Brightness).
- Second Press: Switches to the second light mode (Low Brightness).
- Third Press: Switches to the third light mode (Red Light).
- Fourth Press: Switches to the fourth light mode (Red Flashing Light).
- Fifth Press: Turns the head torch OFF.
To turn off the head torch from any mode, simply cycle through the modes until it turns off, or press and hold the power button for approximately 2 seconds.
Adjusting Light Head Angle
The light head can be tilted up or down to direct the beam where needed. Gently pivot the light unit to adjust its angle.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the head torch with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Care: If the head torch will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage and corrosion.
- Storage: Store the head torch in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
