Wiring Instructions
Important: Disconnect all power before attempting any wiring. Follow local electrical codes and standards. The TM919 has terminals for power input (1, 2) and load output (3, 4, 5).

Figure 3: Basic wiring diagram for the SINOTIMER TM919 controlling a direct load (e.g., a light bulb). Line (L) and Neutral (N) input power are connected to terminals 1 and 2 respectively. The load is connected between terminal 3 (Normally Open, NO) and Neutral (N). Terminal 4 is Common (COM) and terminal 5 is Normally Closed (NC).

Figure 4: Advanced wiring diagram for the SINOTIMER TM919 controlling a higher power load via an external contactor (e.g., ABB AX-09-30-10). The timer's output (terminals 3 and 4) controls the coil of the contactor, which then switches the main power to the load. This setup is used for loads exceeding the timer's direct current rating.

Figure 5: Rear view of the SINOTIMER TM919, showing the terminal block labels. Terminals 1 and 2 are for power input. Terminals 5, 4, and 3 correspond to Normally Open (NO), Common (COM), and Normally Closed (NC) contacts, respectively. The device also displays its 7-day programmable electronic timer function and DC12V 16(8)A, 250VAC rating.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Display is blank or dim. | No power supply or low internal battery. | Check power connections. Replace the internal battery if necessary. |
| Programs are not executing. | Timer is not in AUTO mode. Incorrect programming. | Press MANUAL until "AUTO" is displayed. Review and correct program settings. |
| Load does not turn ON/OFF. | Incorrect wiring. Overload. Faulty load. | Verify wiring according to diagrams. Ensure load does not exceed 16A/3500W. Test the load independently. |
| Time is inaccurate. | Internal clock drift (minimal). | The timer has an automatic correction of +/- 30 seconds weekly. If significant drift occurs, reset the time. |
| Cannot set programs. | Buttons unresponsive. | Press the RESET button (usually a small recessed button requiring a pointed object) to clear all settings and try again. |
