5. Setup

5.1. Battery Installation (HS510C)

  1. The HS510C comes with a CR2032 battery pre-installed.
  2. To replace, unscrew the battery tray cover on the right side of the sight using the T10 L key.
  3. Insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
  4. Securely close the battery tray cover.

5.2. Mounting the Sight and Magnifier

Both the HS510C and HM3X utilize quick-detach (QD) mounts designed for Picatinny rails.

  1. Ensure the firearm is unloaded and pointed in a safe direction.
  2. Loosen the QD lever on both the sight and magnifier mounts.
  3. Place the HS510C sight onto the desired section of your Picatinny rail. Position it forward enough to allow space for the magnifier behind it.
  4. Close the QD lever. If the mount is too loose or too tight, adjust the tension screw on the opposite side of the lever using the T10 L key until a firm lock is achieved.
  5. Place the HM3X magnifier onto the rail directly behind the HS510C. Ensure proper eye relief for comfortable viewing.
  6. Close the QD lever for the magnifier, adjusting tension as needed.

7. Maintenance

7.1. Cleaning

Use a soft, clean cloth to wipe away dust and debris from the exterior surfaces. For lenses, use a lens cleaning pen or a soft lens cloth with a small amount of lens cleaning solution. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

7.2. Storage

When not in use, store the sight and magnifier in a dry, cool place, preferably in their protective case. Remove the battery if storing for extended periods (several months or more) to prevent potential leakage.

8. Troubleshooting

  • Reticle is dim or not visible:
    • Check battery level and replace if necessary.
    • Adjust brightness settings using the '+' button.
    • Ensure the solar panel is not obstructed if operating in solar mode.
  • Reticle appears distorted or blurry:
    • Adjust the diopter on the HM3X magnifier for your vision.
    • Ensure lenses are clean and free of smudges.
    • If using only the HS510C, ensure your eye is focused on the target, not the reticle itself.
  • Sight or magnifier is loose on the rail:
    • Tighten the QD lever.
    • Adjust the tension screw on the QD mount using the T10 L key.
