- Before first use, or if you experience recording issues, format the SD card through the dash cam's settings menu. It is recommended to format the SD card approximately twice a month to ensure optimal performance and prevent data corruption.
4.2. Main Unit Installation
- Attach the mirror dash cam to your vehicle's existing rearview mirror using the provided mounting straps. Ensure it is securely fastened and does not obstruct your view.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Power On/Off
- The dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording when the vehicle's ignition is turned on.
- It will automatically power off when the ignition is turned off.
- To manually power on/off, press and hold the power button located on the bottom side of the screen.
5.2. Screen Display Modes
The dash cam offers four display modes, which can be cycled by tapping the screen:
- Rear Camera View: Displays only the rear camera feed.
- Front Camera View: Displays only the front camera feed.
- Split-Screen View: Displays both front and rear camera feeds simultaneously.
- Screen Off (Mirror Mode): The LCD screen turns off, allowing the device to function as a traditional rearview mirror while still recording in the background. Press the power button briefly to toggle this mode.

- Loop Recording: The device continuously records video in segments (1, 2, or 3 minutes). When the SD card is full, the oldest unlocked files are automatically overwritten.
- G-Sensor Emergency Recording: In the event of a sudden impact or collision, the built-in G-sensor will detect the event and automatically lock the current video file, preventing it from being overwritten by loop recording. This ensures critical evidence is preserved.
