HumanCentric VESA Mount Adapter Instruction Manual

Brand: HumanCentric | Model: 101-1012-V3

1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation and use of your HumanCentric VESA Mount Adapter. This adapter allows you to mount compatible Asus MX Series monitors to any standard VESA-compatible monitor stand or wall mount, enhancing your workspace ergonomics and flexibility.

2. Compatibility

This VESA mount adapter is specifically designed and guaranteed to work with the following Asus MX Series monitors:

  • Asus MX239H
  • Asus MX259H
  • Asus MX279H
  • Asus MX299Q
  • Asus MX25AQ
  • Asus MX27AQ

Important Note:

  • This adapter will not work with other brands or models, and specifically does not fit the Asus VX series.
  • The adapter may cause your monitor to sit approximately 6 inches closer than a standard VESA-compatible monitor. Ensure your mounting arm can accommodate this distance.
  • A mounting arm capable of supporting more than 20 lbs is recommended due to the monitor's weight and the adapter's design.

5. Operating Instructions

Adjust your monitor's height, tilt, swivel, and rotation as per the instructions provided with your specific monitor arm/stand to achieve your desired ergonomic setup.

6. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and proper function of your VESA mount adapter:

  • Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight and secure.
  • Clean the adapter with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues during or after installation, consider the following:

  • Monitor feels wobbly: Ensure all screws securing the adapter to the monitor and the monitor arm are fully tightened. Verify that your monitor arm is rated to support the weight of your monitor plus the adapter.
  • Screws do not fit: Double-check that you are using the correct screws for each connection point. If the provided screws are too short or long, suitable replacements may be needed.
  • Monitor is too close to the user: As noted in the compatibility section, this adapter may position the monitor closer. Adjust your monitor arm's extension or desk position if possible.
  • Adapter does not fit my monitor: Reconfirm that your monitor model is listed in the compatibility section (Section 2). This adapter is designed for specific Asus MX Series monitors only.
