Setup

Basic Setup

1. Power Connection: Connect the power cord to the projector and a power outlet.
2. Placement: Place the projector on a stable, flat surface or mount it using a compatible tripod. Ensure the projection path is clear.
3. Power On: Press the power button on the projector or remote control to turn it on.
4. Focus Adjustment: Rotate the focus ring on the projector lens until the image is clear and sharp.
5. Keystone Correction: Use the keystone correction feature (manual or automatic, if available) to adjust the image shape if it appears distorted (trapezoidal).

Connectivity

Wireless Connection (Screen Mirroring)

The Y61 supports wireless screen mirroring for iOS and Android devices.

1. Ensure your projector and mobile device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
2. On the projector's main menu, select "iOS Cast" for iOS devices or "Miracast" for Android devices.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to enable screen mirroring on your mobile device and select the projector from the list of available devices.

Wired Connection

The projector offers multiple wired input options for various devices.

• HDMI: Connect your device (e.g., TV Box, Amazon Fire Stick TV, PC, laptop, PS4) to the projector's HDMI port using an HDMI cable. Select the corresponding HDMI input from the projector's source menu.
• USB: Insert a USB stick into the USB port to play media files directly.
• AV: Use the provided AV cable to connect older devices (e.g., DVD player) to the AV port.
• Audio Out: Connect external speakers or headphones to the Audio Out port for enhanced sound.

Operating Instructions

Zoom Function

The projector features a zoom function that allows you to adjust the image size from 100% to 75% using the remote control without moving the projector.

Audio

The Y61 LED projector has built-in 3W dual stereo speakers with SRS sound system. For a more immersive experience, external speakers can be connected via the Audio Out port.

Maintenance

Cleaning

Regularly clean the projector lens and vents to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Use the provided cleaning kit for the lens.

• Blurry Image: Adjust the focus ring on the lens. Ensure the projector is placed at an optimal distance from the screen.
• Distorted Image (Trapezoid): Use the keystone correction feature to adjust the image shape.
• No Sound: Check the volume settings on both the projector and the connected device. If using external speakers, ensure they are properly connected and powered on.
