Setup and Assembly
Assembly is required. Please follow these general steps. A detailed instruction manual with diagrams is included in the package.
- Attach Casters to Base: Insert the five casters into the holes at the end of each leg of the star base. Push firmly until they click into place.
- Insert Gas Lift: Place the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the star base.
- Attach Mechanism to Seat: Align the mechanism plate with the screw holes on the underside of the seat cushion. Ensure the front of the mechanism faces the front of the seat. Secure with screws, but do not fully tighten yet.
- Attach Armrests to Seat: Attach the armrests to the sides of the seat cushion using the provided screws. Do not fully tighten.
- Attach Backrest to Armrests: Connect the backrest to the armrests. Ensure proper alignment.
- Tighten All Screws: Once all components are aligned, fully tighten all screws on the mechanism, armrests, and backrest.
- Connect Seat to Gas Lift: Carefully place the assembled seat onto the gas lift cylinder. The tapered end of the gas lift should fit into the mechanism.

Operating Instructions
Your Devoko Office Chair offers several adjustable features for personalized comfort:
- Height Adjustment: To adjust the seat height, pull the lever located under the right side of the seat upwards. While standing, the seat will rise. While seated, apply pressure to lower the seat. Release the lever at your desired height. The seat height adjusts from 17 inches to 20 inches.
- Rocking Function: The chair features a rocking control. To enable rocking, pull the same lever (or a separate knob, depending on the specific mechanism) outwards. To lock the chair in an upright position, push the lever inwards.
- Swivel Function: The chair is equipped with 360-degree swivel nylon casters, allowing for effortless rotation and movement across carpeted and hard floor surfaces.
