Important Safety Instructions

Setup and Assembly
The Zokop Electric Fireplace comes with a pre-assembled wooden cabinet. The primary assembly step involves securing the electric fireplace insert into the wooden mantel.
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Place them on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
- Identify Parts: Locate the electric fireplace insert, the wooden cabinet, top trim, side trims, remote control, and the mounting hardware set (12 screws).
- Position the Cabinet: Place the wooden cabinet in its desired location. Ensure it is on a stable, level surface and away from flammable materials.
- Insert the Fireplace: Carefully slide the electric fireplace insert into the opening of the wooden cabinet. Ensure it fits snugly and is properly aligned.
- Secure the Insert: Using the provided mounting hardware (screws), secure the fireplace insert to the wooden cabinet. There are designated screw holes for this purpose. Note: Some users may find it helpful to use an electric screwdriver for easier installation of screws.
- Attach Trims: Attach the top trim and two side trims to the wooden cabinet as per the assembly diagrams in the included user's manual (physical copy).
- Final Check: Once assembled, ensure all connections are secure and the unit is stable.

Operating Instructions
Your Zokop Electric Fireplace can be operated using either the control panel on the unit or the included remote control.
Control Panel Operation

- Power Button: Press to turn the unit ON or OFF.
- Flame Control Button: Cycles through three flame brightness levels (L1, L2, L3). The flame effect can be used independently of the heat function.
- Time Control Button: Activates the timer function. Press repeatedly to set the auto-shutoff timer from 0.5 hours to 6 hours.
- Thermostat Control Button: Adjusts the desired temperature setting from 62°F to 82°F (17°C to 27°C). The digital display will show the set temperature.
Remote Control Operation

The remote control requires 2 AAA batteries (not included). Ensure batteries are inserted correctly. The effective control distance is approximately 20 feet.
- Main Power Button (Red): Turns the fireplace ON or OFF.
- Flame Control Button: Adjusts flame brightness levels.
- Timer Button: Sets the auto-shutoff timer.
- Heater Control Button: Toggles the heater function.
- Heater Up/Down Buttons (Triangles): Adjusts the temperature setting.
Realistic Flame Effect
The fireplace features a realistic flame effect that mimics burning logs. This effect can be operated independently of the heating function, allowing you to enjoy the ambiance year-round.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance will help prolong the life and performance of your electric fireplace.
- Cleaning:
- Always disconnect the power before cleaning.
- Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Clean the air intake and exhaust vents periodically with a vacuum cleaner or soft brush to prevent dust buildup.
- The glass panel can be cleaned with a soft cloth and a mild glass cleaner. Do not spray cleaner directly onto the unit.
- Storage: If storing the unit for an extended period, unplug it and store it in a dry, cool place, preferably in its original packaging.
