Setup

1. Powering On

1. Connect the smaller end of one power adapter to the DC input port on the Baby Camera Unit. Plug the other end into a wall outlet. The camera must be constantly connected to the power supply.
2. Connect the smaller end of the second power adapter to the DC input port on the Parent Display Unit. Plug the other end into a wall outlet.
3. Press and hold the Power button on the Parent Display Unit until the screen turns on.

2. Pairing (Initial Setup)

The camera and monitor are pre-paired at the factory. If they do not connect automatically, or if you are adding a new camera, follow these steps:

• Ensure both units are powered on and within range.
• On the Parent Display Unit, navigate to the Menu.
• Select the "Camera" or "Add Camera" option.
• Follow the on-screen prompts to initiate pairing. Press the pairing button on the back of the Baby Camera Unit (usually a small button, may require a paperclip) within 10 seconds.
• Once successfully paired, the video feed from the camera will appear on the display.

3. Placement

• Place the Baby Camera Unit at least 1 meter (3 feet) away from the baby's crib to avoid direct contact with the power cord.
• Ensure the camera has a clear, unobstructed view of the baby. The camera angle cannot be controlled remotely and must be adjusted manually.
• Place the Parent Display Unit in a location where you can easily monitor your baby, ensuring it is within the effective range of the camera.

Operating Instructions

Parent Unit Controls

Familiarize yourself with the buttons on the Parent Display Unit:

• Power Button: Turns the unit on/off.
• Menu Button: Accesses settings and features.
• Navigation Buttons (Up/Down/Left/Right): Used to navigate menus and adjust settings.
• OK/Select Button: Confirms selections.
• Volume Buttons: Adjusts the audio volume.
• Talk Button: Activates the two-way intercom.
• Zoom Button: Magnifies the image on the screen.

ECO Mode

To conserve battery life, activate ECO mode:

1. Press the Menu button on the Parent Unit.
2. Navigate to "ECO Mode" or "VOX" settings.
3. Select "On" and adjust the sensitivity level if available. In ECO mode, the screen will turn off, and audio transmission will cease until a sound above the set sensitivity level is detected from the baby's room.

Night Vision

The night vision feature activates automatically in low-light conditions. The camera uses infrared LEDs to provide a clear black-and-white image of your baby in the dark. No manual activation is required.

Lullabies

To play lullabies to your baby:

1. Press the Menu button on the Parent Unit.
2. Navigate to the "Lullaby" or "Music" option.
3. Select a lullaby from the list to play it. You may also have options to loop or stop the music.

Two-Way Intercom

To speak to your baby:

• Press and hold the "Talk" button on the Parent Unit.
• Speak clearly into the microphone on the Parent Unit. Your voice will be transmitted to the Baby Camera Unit.
• Release the "Talk" button to hear your baby again.

Temperature Monitoring

The current room temperature is displayed on the Parent Unit's screen. If the temperature goes outside a preset range (if configurable), an alert may sound. Refer to the menu settings to adjust temperature alert thresholds if available.
