- Lens Protection: Always ensure the lens is protected from dust and scratches when not in use.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Device does not power on. | Battery is depleted or power adapter is not connected properly. | Ensure the power adapter is securely connected and plugged into a live outlet. Charge the internal Li-ion battery. |
| Image on screen is blurry. | Incorrect focus or magnification setting. | Adjust the focus knobs (both coarse and fine). Ensure the specimen is correctly positioned. Clean the lens if necessary. |
| No image on screen. | Lens cap still on, or illumination is off. | Remove any lens caps. Check illumination settings and ensure LEDs are on and bright enough. |
| Cannot save photos/videos. | Micro SD card is full, not inserted correctly, or corrupted. | Check if the micro SD card is inserted correctly. Delete unnecessary files to free up space or replace the card. Format the card if it's new or corrupted (refer to device settings for formatting option). |
| USB lamps not working. | Batteries are dead or not inserted correctly. | Ensure 2x AA batteries are correctly inserted into each USB lamp and are not depleted. |
